Now it is static grenade fix.

Next is maybe smoke. It is very powerful skill alone.
It would be good to take power away. not too much that it does not spoil.
it would be good if it would cost more energy.
People today use no more than 5 lvl skill.
because they see the 6-10lvl futile. Those lvls also pay for energy.

1-5lvl
The energy price is really low in terms of benefits. this smoke. (this can be spammable relative easy)

max lvl smoke is powerful but it cant be spammable. (ofcourse it can but it is something weakness coming too)



Smoke good sides is
--- It decrease enemy defence (normally about -40 dex. lvls can be changes littlebit.)
--- It give better change to hit enemy. (very powerful if you have boyntyhunter You dont need so much dex and still can hit enemy continuously.)
--- It can decrease opponent techtree skill (dex base skills)
--- It increase block change (tihs is powerful against all stregth build)
--- It can be very cheap use. (The benefit is large / small energy cost)
--- This last 3 round (very easy to make powerful combo. like this smoke and h.rush.)
--- easy to increase this power (increase technology<increase smoke effect<increase all damage 3 turn)

I see this skill effect too many things. attack and defence same time.

1. What if we take out rage out this smoke?yes or no?

2. What if we make cost more energy?About 50-100?Old scaling is 5-10.

3. What if we decrease effect power.? yes or no?

personally i want only more energy cost this skill.

Hunters just took a big nerf, they now have the weakest energy regain of any class. I'd say leave them alone for a while and see how it shakes out.

Debuffs are fine, as of the recent debuff nerf, which has made a significant difference by removing level scaling.

Need you forget Steel that they take energy and regain at the same time, everyone else just regain. It's still very effective.

From what I have observed especially in 2v2 that the team with the debuffers (typically smoke) have a much easier time of winning. No I don't find smoke balanced because it works with tech while malf/intimidate with support. How can you seriously call it balanced? No, it's not overpowered but clearly stronger than its counterparts.

Valkyrie, Assimilation still does drain and regain, so does static smash. They both have more than 30% regain, too. But that wasn't my point, I was only saying that since hunters just got nerfed, we should wait and see how their relative power shakes out before suggesting any other nerfs.

That is correct, assim is too strong as well. You don't counter a strong skill with another stronger skill. Static smash can be blocked, its fine the way it is.

Malf is fine, look at the synergy it has with other skills in those trees. Smoke is fine, look the synergy it now has. Point is, hunters are now balanced just fine, now let's do something about TM and BM energy regain and the game will actually be in pretty good shape balance wise.

nope. for a smoke build you need good tec, so for a malf/intim build you need supp. thats the reason support focus supp tm works. but intim needs a fix cos its UP.

What version of ED are you playing? Almost no TMs use Sup build, its almost always full dex, full tech, or both.

Ermm, the normal version. and just cause nobody uses it DOESNT CHANGE ITS POWER. I have alt tec mages and friends who use this build and it WORKS. also, glass cannon with azrael works. 2 example of good tm and ch supp builds. and I think BH has been nerfed enough. tec scaling you say? what point is that when most of their scalings are supp now?

I'll believe it when I see it, as of yet, I've not seen a single TM that was not using a full tech, dex, or hybrid tech/dex build.

I battled with you yesterday a few times, and if you saw my build you would have noticed I wasn't using a full tech, dex, or hybrid dex tech build.

There's a build, which could be considered a Support build, granting nearly over 90% win ratio. That build belongs to someone currently on the (Daily) 1v1 Leaderboard, he's one of the top 5.

Now just what in the heck are you talking about synergy. It is the only skill on tech. The only other thing close to tech synergy in that class is that field medic, mark of blood, and poison have requirements of tech. Other than that there is no synergy.

My thoughts on smoke getting a nerf? Are you ----ing kidding? This skill is already a shell of what it used to be. It requires no more nerfs. It is at a good state as it is.

I see him now, he's the only of the other top 4 being bounty hunters. Furthermore looking onward to the other LBs, its just fulla Tech mages and Bounties. What have they done to ED.

The problem with that is, their most reliable skills are tech requirements making it very easy to have max of each(7 of smoke) without worry about anything else. They have their much needed super resistance/deflect rate on top of their 3 most valuable skills needing that exact same stat is a blessing. The skills Stun grenade, massacre, whatever that def skill is nobody ever uses so its a win win for them. They may not have the synergy but at least the skills they want can be obtained by 1 stat along with great defense and robot damage.

Talking about the synergy with smoke being good for both offense and defense, and while no other SKILLS directly improve with tech, Resistance does, and so do Bots. Tech hunters are still very, very good.

the problem with lb is that there is no buffs and just nerfs , classes like ch and bm and tlm needs to be looked into.

smoke stands perfectly now after static is on supp therefore investing in tech is only for resistance and bot and smoke , deflection.

as comparing it to malf/intimidate proves smoke to be on a weaker stat because supp also increases aux and crict and most buff skills as much as rage and other skills.

it is alone now , its a tier 1 class with a supp req and no the req. can't get higher because of tiring limitations.

on the suggestions :
1. this needs all the others skills to be that too , and i mean all.
2. costing more energy also needs to take consideration of other skills like malf and intimidate and shield skills.
3. that can't happen unless mods admit the "better stat" theory which will cause major balance problems like at skills like artilary and technician and emp and maul.
so the mods instead balance the stat which they did when they removed static grenade from tech.
