Posting Design Notes
If you would like to post a Design Note thread on the forums, you are required to have the thread fully formatted BEFORE you post the thread. There is a "preview" button right next to "ok" to submit the thread. If you need to check to see that everything is in order, use that. It is not a race to see who can post the Design Notes first, or see how quickly after the Design Notes are made that you can post them on the forums. Quality is highly valued above speed in this case. If you want to try your hand at posting the Design Notes, but are not sure how to properly format them, you can look at previous Design Note threads for an idea of how it should look, and read this thread about Forum Commands to learn how to properly post pictures, links, text colors, etc. You may also PM any one of the ED GD forum staff listed here and ask them if you still have questions about properly formatting the Design Notes. If you are unsure if they are right or not, do NOT post them and assume one of the forum staff will "fix" your problem. Your thread will be deleted and room made for one that is properly formatted.

A Legendary Release
The staff avatar goes at the top of the Design Notes. The avatar is linked to their personal tag as well:
[link=Tag Link][image]Image Link[/image][/link] A list of all the common staff avatars you'll most likely need can be found in the post below.
The title of the Design notes is linked to the individual post. Use this title and the date to name your post on the forums. For example, this forum posts should be titled "A Legendary Release - December19th, 2013". Remember you should NEVER tag your own thread with =ED=, this is the job of the ED GD ArchKnights and Moderators.
Here is the code for the date and title:
An important thing to note first is that the whole of a Design Notes post is ALWAYS colored. However, due to quote tags having a lighter background, your not required to use a color tag for the text for the whole thing. Only certain parts may or will required to have a color tag such as linking.
Mainly all the links within Design Notes appear like this. Use the following code to get it right:
[link=][color=#8095D7][b][u]Text[/u][/b][/color][/link] Note that the link function must go on the outside of the code for the format to work. Should also note that the underline function must go inside of the bold function in order to bold the underline.

It wouldn't be a proper birthday without a new Arcade Game!
Horrifying! Give it a spin and be the first to claim the grand prize! As with other games, Nightwraith's Nightmare will introduce it's own new evolving achievment and leaderboard!
Notice how the text is touching both the top and bottom of the image. In order to get that affect, the text needs be next to the image code itself. If it only touches on one side, then you only have to do it for the one side. Text on the left of image is for the top side, and right of the image is for the bottom side:
However, videos (normally via YouTube) are a completely different matter. We cannot embed videos on to the forums, therefore, we have to link them instead. Remember to always use quietube though to prevent linking to any inappropriate content which can often be the case with YouTube.
Resources: If you are uncomfortable with forum coding, use the Forum Commands guide.
Take your time: It is NOT a race. We would prefer to see a full formatted Design Notes posted than a rushed post. Any posts which are not fully formatted are only going to get deleted anyway, so if you want your post to stay, make sure it's full formatted!
Spacing: Forum coding can sometimes cause a problem with spacing, with Design/Patch Note posts, you're likely to find that using the list tags will create a lot of space, so be careful of that when using them.
Preview: To make sure you've got everything right, ALWAYS use the "Preview" button before actually submitting the post. This will show you how your post will appear, so you can spot any errors you may need to change.
If you have any questions or need assistance, PLEASE contact one of us ED GD ArchKnights and Moderators and we will be happy to help. However, the bottom line is that if you have no idea how to properly post the Design Notes, just leave it for someone who does.

Musk Mania Continues
You've done it! The forces of Ebil have been vanquished from Delta V with the help of Elon Musk. This week, enjoy even more spoils of war with new weapons, new home items, balance improvements, new missions, and a new arcade game!
Musk and Ebil Gear!
Try your luck at the new Musk Mania arcade game for Musk-tech and Ebil-tech loot not available anywhere else in-game!
Can you win the grand prize?
Visit Musk to embark on an epic hunt spanning all of Delta V! Musk is preparing something special for you if you can complete all of his scavenger hunt missions and retrieve all the weird, wild pumpkins from the far corners of the planet!
Be vigilant! Some pumpkins will be harder to find than others!
Some of those pumpkins mentioned above, as well as several new Musk and Ebilcorp-themed items will be available as home items for your decorating pleasure!
Not so intimidating now, are you, Chairman?
Another change coming to this Friday's release is a balance update that will specifically address cores. For many builds, it is more useful to use a series of cores than to invest in particular skills and stats. For this reason, we are adding energy costs to many cores. This change will require you to think strategically about reserving enough energy to use all of your cores and necessary skills, adding variety and tactical choice to battle.
This is not the last balance change we have in mind, but because it is quite a big change, we could not fit in any other adjustments this week. Look for more farther reaching changes in the coming weeks.
Next week, to refresh the Varium store, we are clearing out the following Varium packages:
If you have not already picked up one of these exclusive and powerful packages, now is the time to do so. Next week, they will no longer be available in the Varium store or in-game. Also, the items featured in the packages will be available for resale if you need the extra loot.
- Exile package
- Legion Package
- Dread Package
- Omega Packages
Again, this change is not happening until NEXT WEEK so you still have another week to pick them up before they're gone! We wanted to announce this a week in advance so it didn't take anyone by surprise!
