@Bjeeble: I think it's because of the animations. . .eh. . .I'm not into construction equipment and all. . . .

I'd rather off go with Monk now that I think about it. . .

or just wait for a new Neutral Character. . . .

@Trollok Dire Monk doesn't have any DoTs, but it's still pretty good. And Arcan Ranger's specialty is Dots(I have 3 DoTs if you include my CC)

Psh just slap on some Corruptions and you're good to go! Besides I don't like how Arcane Ranger has that many elements...not to mention Cat Reflex is such a bat DoT it doesn't even deserve to be called one really. I prefer Dire Monk's extra Iron Hide over Cat Reflex any day . But I admit, Storm is a nice DoT...

i dont like how death flow costs so much energies, its much more sensible and cheaper to us 3 500s or even 2 power strikes

Nothing beats my VC deck and 3 CC added cards. 2 515 shields and one life drain. Whoope.

@branden: If that is what you think, then use three 500 attacks and/or two power a Strikes. -.-

Corruption costs so much energy because it's so darn strong! 500 damage per turn, for 4 turns. Fire Whirl costs 7 energy, and it's only 400 damage for THREE turns. . . .
So if that's what you think, then surely you must think that Fire Whirl is way too expensive too?

In addition to that, the affects DoT's and Insta-Damage bring into play is EXTREMELY different.

For Insta-damage, you might want to frighten your opponent to use some heals and crap, or finish him off.

For DoT's, you want to stress him out and urge him to use some shields or something. And it can really mess up his strategy, unlike Insta's where he knows you're out of energy
and has to charge next turn, thereby having a direct shot at your vulnerable Hp bar.

It's all part of gameplay. Corruption deserves that big 10 Energy. I've used it, and I think it's fine being that costly, because the damage makes up for it.

And I've went against them too. They are not funny to go up against. .. -.-

@DYKT Do you dare to say LD is not useful? The shields and lifedrain is because of the tons of sacrifices and bloodrage VC has, so I can get sustain, because originally there is no life drain and only one shield in VC's deck.

@branden That's why we have Neutralize so we can either gain the charges we need for it, or discard it and use it for Corruptions or anything else I need.
@Trollok Actually I barely see Cat Reflex anymore, and if I do I just ignore it. Again, something to spend the charges we get from Neutralize on. Also AR has Energize, so having an extra element isn't really a problem, it just gives another DoT, of my Storm, Corruption, and Cat Reflex. My CC for AR is a Corruption and an extra Iron Hide, so our characters get really similar with CC anyways.

Ah, right. I forgot that VC had Sacrifice.

I'm not saying Life Drain isn't useful. I'm was just wondering how it was faring for you.

I think Life-Drain is a card that has to be used with extreme caution. . . can't just stick it as a random move. . .'cause you'll just end up gaining minimal Health advantage that can be
brought down easily, and draining your precious Energy.

I think Void Champion is kind of tame and not worth getting. Black Dragon is better in my opinion.
@BJBELE: Yeah Dire Monk and Arcane Ranger do end up fairly similar with CC. Everyone wins :D

@DYKT 2 shields, 1 Poison, 1 LD. That is really the best LD turn possible, then next turn you use some Life draining attacks with some 500 attacks and you have a 5-hit combo. Because Lich is my favorite shadow character, learning how to use LD is kind of important.

Well coming from a non void champion lover that is awesome,
It may not be the best character out there. But it's strong IMO.

It seems you are very attached to that character; I respect that :). But I like dragons 'cause I was born on the Year of the Dragon :D. That's why this Horse shop is kinda meh. But I admire how Nulgath chose to address my culture!

Ox- Giant Ox on a Cloud. . .that was the first thing I thought of.

Dragon -> Wingless Wyrm-like Dragon. You know, the wingless ones that look like slinkies . . . Best of how I can describe it. Lol!

So far I like how this is going. We got a Chinese New Year release to keep us going for this week, and then we've got Nulgath Birthday Character for next week.

Then, we get a CC switch and possibly some more things on the next week. . . .

Just did some research.
The next Year of the Ox is all the way in 2021.

EDIT:
So apparently each animal also has its own element:
Rat, Ox, Pig = Water
Tiger, Rabbit = Wood
Dragon = Earth
Snake, Horse, Goat = Fire
Monkey, Rooster, Dog= Metal

With that being said, I think the new horse we got should have been a Fire type.
Doesn't matter now though.
