Maybe in the future (1~2 years) Nulgath will make it so that when Chinese New Year comes around, you're able to buy every Zodiac Animal/Character instead of just one?

@inshal: Next dragon year isn't for some time either...but I certainly WILL be playing OS :).

@DidYouKnowThat: Yeah a serpentine dragon would be fitting since Asian dragons are like that as opposed to the European style Nulgath used for Black Dragon.

But my guess is because people were saying Water is weak. So maybe Nulgath wanted to prove them wrong? I don't know. . .

@DYKT Sage is responsible for the card decks. Giving them those decks is not the way to go, to "prove them wrong" about water, at least. If anything, it kinda exemplifies some of the flaws in water. Though, I'm sure Sage knows more about balance than me, seeing that Nulgath chose him. ;)

@Jacke Who knows? Maybe Nulgath just didn't check the chinese zodiac mythology-thingamabob before making it, not the first time games have done that. Um, "From Metal we get Water, from Water we get Wood, from Wood we get Fire, from Fire we get Earth and from Earth we get Metal." Metal could be neutral, I guess? The blue horse is pretty though. I like it the way it is. :>

@DYKT I forget sometimes too, but Sage is really doing a great job in making the decks. When did he start making the decks?

Speaking of Zodiacs I was born year of the monkey! I'd imagine it would be an earth type.

You know what I'm surprised about? That they nerfed XMas Elf, but iron hide is still 2000-2200 damage for 5 energy and it can be CC'd.

For 2 turns, and CC Iron Hide blocks 1100 per turn.

I think he means since it lasts two turns. Either way, I think balancing Iron Hide can simply come from adding maybe an HP cost to it in addition to five energy since it can even prevent piercing attacks from reaching.

Losing health doesn't do a whole lot since iron hide can block 1000-1100 damage per turn, but if it's a lot of health then it can stop neutral characters from spamming it.

Precisely. Make it like Sacrifice and maybe bump it up to 7 Neutral Energy. Problem solved.
