Weird, when I hunted Tyrant Moose for 2 weeks plus and finally encountered and possessed him at Snowy Forest, never did I once encountered Frost Lion over there. Frost Lion's encounter rate is still higher than Tyrant Moose so I don't think Frost Lion is suppose to be there but don't quote me on that. It may recently have moved to snowy forest.

Just found moose and failed Yet again i wish there was another way to catch besides SG's

noooooooo!!!!! after weeks of searching finally found moose but jeez why me?!!

@below the forest to the right where u spawn on the world map

^Yikes, I feel your pain. Hey, on the bright side, at least you found it...

Mind telling me where in the World Map you found it? I'm sick of Snowy Forest at this point.

I've got terrible luck when it comes to the new characters. I haven't seen a hair or inch of Time Gentleman, Moose, and Slime. I was finally able to catch Lepid, but the others are hard encounters for me.

Also has anyone posted a bug report on the missing sound effects on Lepid and Big Daddy? I don't want to make one if there is one already.

You know those 10 hour videos on YouTube? Well, call me mental, but hunting for Moose has allowed me to listen to the entirety of several of them...

Been recording today's fights during the search for Moose...8 hours result in this:

Arcane Ranger- 168
Barbarian (Veteran)- 64
Frost Lycan- 88
Ice Apprentice- 120
Barbarian (Apprentice)- 152
Ice Matron- 104
Ice Nomad- 120
Frost Void- 56
Frostzard- 16
Tharr - 201
Barbarian (Master)- 32
Snow Ninja- 16
Time Gentleman- 2...really?
Tyrant Moose- GOOSE EGG

@trollok I would advise to farm in the forest and dam i can imagine the lvls u have gained XD

Wow the only other person I know who made a list like that was Basicball. Interesting list Trollok! If a few more people do that and compare drop lists it would really help in approximating drop rates of characters.

Although you doing all those battles gives us a good enough idea as it is. 8 hours of farming, wow.

Yeah, if I kept track of my weeks of searching, there'd be thousands of battles recorded. As it is, this list is a fair indicator of Moose's rarity.

Definitely. Do keep me posted with your lists, I might even try to do some myself, makes for a good reason to farm. Wow, so Moose is that rare huh, they should have given him DFR catch rate, that's crazy!

Looks like there's no release tonight judging from the lack of Oversoul news on the Oversoul website and Artix.com...

That was eight hours? How fast do you kill? I can barely get in 40 battles per hour. >,<

It's easy to kill when you're fed up with high level battles and use low level characters instead. Quite a bit of leveling done today unfortunately the gold I gained disappeared upon log-out. And a little refresh-farming thrown in too xD

 Trollok!!!: That's still very fast. I remember quitting after 13 hours of Time Gentleman farming. >:I

I try to make farming monsters a passive process now. Makes it much less tedious.

Yeah I should probably take it more casually. That way instead of having a heart attack when I finally run into my prey, I can see it as a nice surprise xD.

Lol. True. Honestly speaking, I hope there will be more than 5 entries in each category being selected and then 2 entries of each category will win due to the effort and time every forumite put in especially those who participated in the Art entry.

I doubt it. Remember how long it took Nulgath to finish the last Writing submission? I doubt he'd be willing to draw and animate double the amount of characters.

That is the problem which I noticed when he had to spend some time to drew Resonance. Due to BG, Nulgath don't have time for OS releases. At least having more than 5 entries of each category being selected for the final. Then the rest is up to us to vote.

Yeah. . .BG (Although I do think that BG isn't the real reason, mentioning his ''side-projects'' are not appropriate for forums APPARENTLY.)

Even if not many are selected, I hope these contests act like ''feedback topics'' for him, letting him know what kinds of characters the Oversoul people would prefer.

So in the future, we could expect characters we will like. . maybe? HOPEFULLY?!
