Giant whaleman totally has my backup vote incase I don't make it. The overall aesthetic of a bulky leviathan, I find alluring. :>

Oh, thanks, Axel. I guess I didn't recall that picture when they said whaleman since it doesn't exactly look like a whale, with the extra eyes/lantern on its head/legs/clothes. Anyway, I think it should be called a Humaner.

Hm, I'd probably vote for fishy too. (When did Nulgath post his list last time?) Though, I'd love a true leviathan..like, say, black dragon-sized and floundering.

Anyone interested in taking a picture in regard to Os theme Is Voids Vs Fiends So you have to be a Void or Fiend come to solace-0 if interested the more the better i think Solace can hold 12 people.

The picture has been taken would have been sweeter with more people but we used to those who showed up

So I'm back guys I haven't played in a while because I've been SUPER busy.
On the topic of the water elemental thingy. Some one should do a Loch Ness or someting like that. Just something I've been thinking about

So Nulgath still haven't choose which entries to pick for the final? I guess will still to wait patiently although i can't wait any longer because i am really getting too afraid my Aquatic Dragon won't be selected by Nulgath in the final.

Not entirely sure what Writing entries will be chosen. Some of them seemed a little barren, to say the least. There were a couple of good ones, but not nearly as many as last time. Art will be an even bigger problem, I fear. Far too many brilliant submissions via Twitter for me to decide, personally.

There were good writing entries and some I felt were too short or too stretching when it came to the characters. Some entries I felt over did it with the wall of text which I kept thinking was my fault since Necrosis had a lengthy entry so it might have been the catalyst to them. Summarizing key points to a characters life with bits of details is the way to go, but a wall of text is what I usually want to avoid when I read some of other people's entries.

There are a lot of good art entries which is why I usually try to avoid the art section of the contest because I don't have that good amount of skill yet to contest in it, but it allowed me to develop my skills even if it was a small improvement.

It's a pretty good entry although my grammar and spelling dictator is coming out screaming in wanting to fix some mistakes. I don't quite understand the reason of:

Technically it's basic swimming so I don't know the concept behind that unless you state "Nulgath's army that have the ability to breathe underwater swam to where Aqua Dragon and other sea creatures dwelled."

Giving the minions the ability to breathe underwater instead of giving the gift of basic swimming would fit the concept nicely.

Other than that I see no problem except the grammar, spelling, and that little thing I pointed out.

The Captain Rhein's entry gave something I was looking for in a writing entry. Good summarizing with the important details on the template and it's at the right level of it not being a giant wall of text. The Coral Ninja is...okay, but it's too short with just straight explanation with little detail it gives.

It would be a lot more interesting to see people create their own lands instead of having to base off the AQW and OS lore time to time because as I stated before: "Nulgath should not be a major catalyst in creating heroes and villains." Sure tie it in with certain characters, but when it comes to imagination I would like to see a bit more flexibility in the writing submissions.

When I suggested Necrosis, I took the lore from my book and based it around that and he did look the part to be in OS's world. Once the Water contest started up I decided to learn my mistakes from the third contest and tie the characters I suggested to Necrosis's world to give a feel that these characters are all part of a grand picture instead of being forced to a predetermined path that would be set for them on terms of OS's world. I don't believe Nulgath should be the main antagonist in many story suggestions.

Mobius the Hero, I suggested, he was to believe he was doing the ultimate good until he met someone who sacrificed everything to create a false peace even though that person was to be the ultimate antagonist, but the ultimate protagonist. Aquarius Apparatus is applied to the same concept except his antagonist is the very nation that created him and to defend the ideals he gained through the soul of a child did he find purpose.

I love seeing creative stories like these examples (even though they are my suggestions ) revolve around another world instead of it just being fixed into OS's world.

I like to use OS characters in the story since Nulgath might figure out a way to make them important in the story like how I picture mana guardian protecting one of the artifacts then gets in a fight against Nulgath and makes a cutscene for it.

/facepalm really hard This is really embarrassed to me when you point out my mistake on "Nulgath's army capable of swimming in the ocean". Thx for the feedback although its too late now to fix it as the submission thread is lock and Nulgathis already looking at which entry he want to select. When the next character suggestion begin and i want to participate, i will definitely watch for that. Even with that few mistake, i hope my Aquatic Dragon's entry will make it in the final. Also, thx for pointing out my grammar mistakes.

When the next contest comes along I'll probably start helping with other people's writing entries on terms of grammar and spelling even though I tend to overlook my own mistakes.

Well it's good that Nulgath is taking his time on these entries because rushing is never a good thing when it comes to contests especially when you have a good amount of submissions that were sent in via Twitter and posted on these forums.

Hard to say because everyone has different tastes and the last contest was based on originality. If this was literally an official writing contest that grades you on originality, spelling, and grammar then the chances would be low scores on spelling and grammar. Originality is very difficult on those terms because an army slaughtering a peaceful community and the survivor wants revenged against the one that initiated the whole ordeal is a literally cliched event seen in many different games and anime. Hopefully you won't take offense to that.

Now because this is an unofficial contest where originality only counts and it is judged by someone who we know on a public level then the factor is a 50/50 chance because we don't know what Nulgath looks for.

That will be extremely helpful of you. Mondez, based on you winning the writing entry with your Necrosis, what you think of my chances of Aquatic Dragon making it in the final?

Edit: That sounds really logical. A sad thing to say for me. Now i feel that my Aquatic Dragon won't make it in the final. I really don't want to see that happen because i really want my Aquatic Dragon to make it in-game since it have great potential plus the deck i make have 2 Bash and 3 Thrash along 2 powerflow which make my Aquatic Dragon very offensive but also very defensive and have great heal ability.
