have you notice on ed lately which is critz vs blocks. it seems in battles which we all have seen the blocks have out done the critz l think 3 --1 , in most games.

with the other player at say 120 and you have a rage attack which some players will melee it and it gets blocked for 30--60 pts of damg. to me that seems unreal with a rage attack.

l could see with a melee attack with no rage a block. in which l mean melee using your prime attack weapon in a phy action vs the other player.

l wonder when new phase happens if this problem will be addressed and along with the critz an blocks that have been running a little wild on ed, l think.

so have other players noticed this critz vs blocks or blocks vs critz, during battles.

my thoughts on this

always the syfy ps be free to pose a reply if this has happen to any other players during battle.

The problem is that getting blocked on a regular form of damage greatly increases rage, but getting your rage blocked doesn't give you any bonus rage because rage attacks don't give rage themselves.

Block is way better than crit.

another problem in rage is with the defense ignore skills like cheapshot and fire scythe , if you had a rage crict max cheapshot the ignore happens before the rage so you only gain half the 38% left meaning only 19% defense ignored by rage , so it is a waste to use armor ignoring skills while rage.

@ Edward

Every luck base effect is better than crits currently. Crits only give 30-50 extra damage, and thanks to all of these nerfs differently and indirectly the nanotech steel core got just as many indirect buffs.

You would have to be fighting somebody with 100 - 167 defense/resist for this to be true. Crits on average are about twice as strong as you claim.

@ Xendran

When they reduced the amount of damage crits gave they made it originally 3-5 extra damage when you score a crit. This was before the the X 10 update. Now times it by 10 and you get 30-50 damage depending on what you levels is.

here is the part of the design notes that shows this.

quote:

Critical Strike minimum damage is now 3-5, down from 4-7. Increases at level 15 and 30.

Minimum damage has nothing to do with the actual critical strike mechanic. Criticals ignore 30% of your resist/defense.
They have a minimum damage to ensure that you don't deal too little bonus damage to people that have their defenses extremely low.

If your pierce adds less than that much, you will instead get 30 - 50 extra damage.
