Rather than the current broken Legendary Mode that gives a massive advantage in battle, why not add smaller benefits that are still meaningful but don't destroy the balance completely? Also, another part to go along with this is to change how the pricing system is handled. The Pricing: 4,000 Credits / 65 Varium 6,000 Credits / 100 Varium 8,000 Credits / 135 Varium 10,000 Credits / 165 Varium 12,000 Credits / 200 Varium 14,000 Credits / 235 Varium 16,000 Credits / 265 Varium 18,000 Credits / 300 Varium 20,000 Credits / 335 Varium 40,000 Credits / 665 Varium This pricing system ends up making each category 2,000 Credits cheaper in the end, but requires more saving for the higher ranks. This also means that if you splash into different categories, you can rank up quicker than if you want to focus on one. To compensate for having to pay 148,000 credits as well as gaining experience, and to give legendary players more distinction the more legendary they become, when you reach the Legendary rank of any category (The 40,000 one) you will receive one of the following unique Legendary cosmetic items: Legendary Hairstyle 1 (For all classes) Legendary Hairstyle 2 (For all classes) Legendary Hairstyle 3 (For all classes) Legendary Cape 1 Legendary Cape 2 Legendary Cape 3 Legendary Bike Legendary Car Legendary Mutation Legendary Armor Skin ( I honestly think its worth it to design a skinning system. The amount of money you could make from microtransactions for item skin transfers would be very helpful, and you could use it for a feature like this. ) Yes, this means that if you want to flaunt a cape, you HAVE to be legendary! This way players can distinguish themselves further without having to use a hairstyle or armor that they may not want to use. There are 10 categories to choose from, making the maximum Rank 100 like was originally promised. 2% Less Damage Taken when Stunned(*) 1% Less Damage Taken from Critical Hits(*) 1.5% Increased Rage Gained from Skills(@) 1% Decreased Cost of Skills 1.5% Decreased Cost of Cores 1.5% Decreased Skill Requirements 1.5% Increased Effect of Stat Buffs on You(!) 1% Increased Effect of Shields on You(!) 1.5% Decreased Effect of Stat Debuffs on You(!) 1% Decreased Effect of Equipment Debuffs on You(!) (*)This is done after Def/Res, not before. (@) You do not gain increased rage from using Strike, Sidearm, Auxiliary or Robot. (!)On you does not mean cast by you. If you or your partner buffs you, you will get the bonus. If you buff your partner, he will not. Fun Fact: If support ever gets made useful in a balanced way, Less Critical Damage actually enables a build that could counter pure support builds, but ONLY pure support builds. If you pumped your health EXTREMELY high, had base support and very low def/res, you could actually cause yourself to take less damage from criticals than from normal hits. Combined with the HP, and extra points in strength, you would have an interesting counter build. It would counter only people who rely on crits for damage and everything else would likely just kill you.
