Remove the rage drawback of critical hits

One thing at first that we all are pretty sure about: Support is actually the weakest stat.

Which does make it worse is that it could be a curse to have rage on special moments
when a character would have rage with the next move when there won´t be a
critical hit as critical hits add less rage points. Critical hits should never be a
disadvantage as they currently could make the point of having critical hits pointless
and weaken support. So critical hits should grant a character the same ammount of
rage points than non critical hits.


Example for the current situation:

Without critical hit: Player does an attack which grants him enough rage points to have Rage on next turn.
He does a sum of 60 damage points in those 2 moves.

With critical hit
: Player does a critical attack which does not grant enough rage points to have Rage on next turn.
He does a sum of only 50 damage points in those 2 moves.

What you suggest has nothing to do with support, or it being a weak stat.

Moreover its good at the way it is cause it gives the opponent time to recover from the critical damage and works as a deterrent.

I use a high strength build and if I were to crit on strike it will do 210 210 that's a lot.

What could work here is if when u get blocked when u rage u get 50% rage bar full instantly.

Rage dosen't increase with support anymore.

This is pretty much the same thing as "I don't want to hit my opponent hard because it'll give him rage since he's so close to it." And so I go and use my weakest move even if it would otherwise make essentially no sense.

No that's that's not the way you shd look at it .. if a tank takes in 100 damage on my strike and a 250 on a crit .. you shd get lower rage .. There needs to be a deterrent for that huge bonus damage you did.

At times it can work for you and against you .. but that's how its seems fair for the huge damage on a crit.

In my opinion this suggestion does not provide enough buff to support, since it is based on an unreliable scenario - critical hit. There may be many battles when you get no critical hit, so the effect is zero.

^ But it's better than nothing, and right now, support is significantly behind the other stats so any buff it gets would be useful.

^I think if you bother implementing something, you'd better be sure it is worth the effort. 'It is better than nothing' is not enough. Epicduel itself is better than nothing, but for many it was still not enough.

And that logic is flawed. Yes there might be battles where you get not crits/blocks/deflects but it doesn't take away the value of crits/blocks/deflects from their respective stats. Just because they work on percentages doesn't devalue them simply because they have a random factor involved!
