What happens to AE games when the player base disappears :(

If what this is saying is true, then the sad truth is this. Omega is the straw that broke the camel's back. I hate to say it but no sooner did this phase come the players that came into the game vanished. Even with all the flaws Epic duel had before this phase the numbers were still decent.

The game continues to exist even if it doesn't make AE money? Sounds good to me.

Earlier when I logged into ED, there were 700+ players online, which I doubt Hero Smash is even close to. I'm aware that ED used to have a bigger playerbase and that many left after Omega, but it probably brought in some new players too.

ED still has a lot of players compared to the Dead ED games. You guys should see AE's Oversoul. Now that's a dead game. Only 10-30 players are online each day at peak. It's sad because OS had so much potential. ED is in hard times right now, but not to where it is a dead game. We still have decent content releases. On the other hand, OS has no content or balance updates anymore except some NPC art because of the lack of players and programmers/coders.

Don't worry, Nemesis30 will pay enough to keep ED running if they keep making wars like this. ;p

I really don't want to see epicduel go the way herosmash and oversoul did. I have been on this game since beta and have had many fun times on here. I'm just hoping that the game's problems are able to be fixed before it is too late.

 Any posts about abusing bugs has been deleted from this thread, as that is off-topic. Regarding ED Bugs, from =ED= Bugs Forum Rules:
