I am not a big fan of this idea as I am against any restriction that could limit potential variety. By all means they could create cores that are more suited to particular classes and builds, but at the same time these cores should be useful for any class/wacky builds that wants to make something interesting. Maybe they could make cores that require a particular primary weapon (sword/claws/maul/staff) but this should be if it doesn't make logical seance to have it on another weapon, for example if their was a passive primary called sharpened blades (eg. gave small reduction in the amount of damage block, blocks), this would not exactly make sense on a staff or a maul would it? Though it may be the case in which a core might make a particular class to strong, in which case it might be a good idea to exclude other classes in certain cores however, I have come to dislike balancing through exclusion/restriction and prefer balance through counter-play, however I do understand that it can be a lot easier to just restrict things. It is less good for variety and can harm overall fun but it is easier.
