You could try getting a Shadow Squire or Void Incarnate since they can do 500 damage with no energy but at the cost of 400 health. That way you could beat him at level 1 with 2 sacrifices and 1 500 attack without charging. Leveling up would help, but it would probably take too long to really be beneficial for your goal, which is just to complete the Omni event. You can evolve Blood Void into a more powerful character at level 4 and above though, by going to the character tree and clicking on the next rank's icon.

What level are you and are you still using Blood Void?

My Advice:

Get a better character and level that up. We can suggest some powerful but easy to find and fight and capture guys.

Rank up. There are several levels of character, don't stick with the weakest. Keep in mind your level resets each rank up. Rank up can occur at level 4, 10, or 20 depending on the character.

Level up. Self explanatory really.

y'know I think Oversoul is one of the few games where the AI are incredibly strong

You could take Jopple's advice about getting a Shadow Squire AND level it up until you can get Vamp Lord, it should be quick since it's just 3 levels away. If you're lucky, you can take Thok down on turn 1, it's a bit easier to do with Vamp Lord.

ooh Thok has really nice swing animations. Its like you can actually feel the weight of the blade
it is the normal animations though right? It just looks better on Thok for some reason

Judging from two results, Vampy still works like a charm on low levels, no matter the AI.

VI would of been easier wouldn't of had to train it to level 4 either though.

How many of these people do you guys think will continue to play OS after this?

I actually really like Omni Knight. Even when you get dead cards, you usually get a charge card so you can discard them. It's only a shame that you need CC to use it properly.

Wow, I'm surprised by how many people I've seen who already have Omni Knight. How can people farm that long to where they can get all the artifacts in 1 day, I wonder? Is there some secret to it that I'm missing?

But back to the topic of Thok, I really like his deck. It seems very offensive at first, but with the Iron Hide and Counter Attack, it also has decent defense. Not to mention how awesome his 5-hit combo is!

@Gorillo: Well, that explains how I was able to snag the DF, OS, and MQ artifacts within a day or two. Now if I could just get onto AQW, HS, and ED....

I just can't seem to find Thok. Only frogzards and Barbarians. This is the hardest out of all the games for me...

So im playing AQ and I fought a baby fire dragon and end the fight with 30 hp only to go straight into a fight with artix and lose. :/
