It doesn't seeem... Rev-like. If you study the character of all the rev's, there are very similar features.

Another Rev Evolution?! I better go buy SGs for this.
As some of you know, I'm a shameless Rev Variant Collector.

Funnily enough, I just captured a Human Fisher.
Would I be correct in saying that Sleepy Wolf PvE is the best way to find Time Gentleman?

I think you've got a very good point. It is unfair, especially considering how difficult it was to find him AND beat him
PS - You wouldn't necessarily need to wait two years unless you wanted a free evo. You could just pay SGs to evolve him.

I've got nothing against the rares system myself.

...Okay, I lie. I have everything against the rare system. I think it was a cool idea that got torn apart by greedy people who started wanting things to not return just so they could have it and others could not.

But my particular issue with Rev is it was billed as a seasonal rare and not as a permanent one.

I had a long back and forward with one of the wiki people after I noticed one of the rev forms was labeled seasonal and the other forms labeled Rare but in the end it was confirmed they were seasonal and not rare REV should be returning later this year and also skexis should be returning for founders at least.

Rares keep people with OCD playing which a lot of gamers have a mild version of the need to get 100% is the whole reason they added trophies and etc to consoles so people would have to play them more to finish them.

My point was the character was billed as seasonal, and technically they were correct... for founders only, which was NOT mentioned and where I take issue.

Thats the wiki people fault if I understand what you're saying.

Everyone blade just confirmed if we wont a AQW artist to release a character on OS we have to request it from alina and it has to be a nice size group of people asking.

 @Gorillo Titan that's dissapointing, you would thing something of this magnitude would be perm, though she did specifically only mention the omni blade it might be quite different next time (the reward's atleast) so maybe there is a chance the char might be perma.

I guess we'll see later on, still dissapointing though, they could of chosen something else to be seasonal (but that's just my opinion).

the issue of Perm - is moot - ( pointless?)
and OS Nulgath is perm rare this year also - Jan B-day cross promo

and - just cause they tagged the Omni subject as open and held off on Perm tag
- does not mean it won't go rare - so better safe than sorry - don't regret the time spent
- even if you could have waited - what if you can't after all... mwa haha

right - might-- that part was for above where someone was upset about already spending 8 hours getting it if he could wait...
But I see it has been deleted, gone now.... lol - :D

and ahhh... only 1 going rare char available currently .. gotcha..

Maybe they'll just create new versions ala: Founder / 1st upholder / (next) 2nd Upholder.. ect... Rare and seasonal

 We'll just have to wait and see next year, just got suprised that they changed it to seasonal (maybe seasonal) since every other anniversary/bday was perm that's all (not just just stricktly about oversoul, but the whole bday/versary). Didn't expect that.

Urgh, 825,000 gold spent and still no Corruption. That really hurts as a player without X-Boosts.

Lots of free time burned away in Oversoul, and you get more gold the higher level you are (on average).

Just realised there's new characters, Icarius and Azrael in the shop for 10000 gold...so anyone have any suggestions for where on the map I can gold farm?
Also still no luck on finding Time Gent but at least my Founder Knight and Priest of Ver are gaining experience.

PS - Just made a character count and I'm missing 150 of them...wow I really have a bunch of catching up on these especially Orcs and Ogres
Speaking of which, did we get a OrcOgre War or has that been postponed?

Forest Edge and Solace are pretty fast since the characters there are easy to beat, though Thok was just added to Solace which makes things more difficult. Treasure Chest gives more gold than usual when beaten, but it might not be worth it since things in that area take longer to beat and it's a little rare. We never got an Orc v. Ogre war. That was never promised anyway, that was just someone's idea on the forums.

Ah ok, this Treasure Chest sounds intriguing...Shame it's not possessable, it looks like it would be a good 'un.
Btw did anything happen storyline wise at all?

No, not really. We still only have one coder (I'm not sure if he is currently also working on other projects though), so we only really have character releases. I think the last quests we had were the Ogre/Orc character collection quests.

Warlic was confirmed to be working on dragon idle plus he fixes bugs on other games at least.


With all these player it would be a great time to have a character release.
