1) % were pretty cool and I understand why you removed them for the individual players but the were really interesting to look at for factions who were winning dailys

2) show faction flag on char page and player rank

3) rank up screen everytime a player ranks up ( with ranks, levels or even actual ranks (emperor, etc))

4) A category that shows each factions players Wins for the days ( http://i45.tinypic.com/2njg10k.png )

5) Rank shops with rank armors that you can only access at that rank (Emperor, Warlord, Legend etc)

6) Faction HQ'S that upgrade when your faction levels up just like how your first home is a shack then you have to upgrade

7) Faction All-Time Kill Board, a Personal Faction Leaderboard that tracks the amount of wins that the players in your faction have done and shows what player did X amount of wins.

8) Having a Vendbot at your faction HQ

9) Faction window revamp to include 2 more categories. 1) 1v1 Wins today, 2) 2v2 Wins today

10) Let us fight Dage, Matrix, every other lvl 100 unbeatable boss. It's okay if theyre lvl 100 and extremely difficult/impossible. RPG games are about bragging rights.

11) Bring back FLags. It enhanced competition.

12) Note bot improvement. a good note improvement would be adding a scrolling option so that we aren't limited to a certain amount of messages. this way we dont have to put everything in small words, and be limited to text

13) Faction Daily Rewards
right now you get no rewards for doing dailies (solo, team, Juggernaut, WD)
the idea i have here is to reward players for doing dailies in factions.
these rewards would only go to the players of the winning faction.

Faction Daily Rewards: for the players
Credits: 2500
Personal Influence: 1000

WD Rewards: for the players
Credits: 5000
Personal Influence: 2500


14) Since Epicduel is a community I think some things to focus on would be "community" things that are very influential. Things such as a message board. This board should probably be in Central Station , by Oz, and what i imagine it being is literally a Board with Papers all over it. You will be able to click on the board and have two choices. Either "Post" or "View Posts". If an individual selects the "Post" button they will have three categories to choose from: "Looking for faction", "Looking for ally for NPC" and "Looking for Challenge Partner". They simply click on and for a fee (so the board isn't over crowded) they are allowed to post on the board.

For example, my Char name is Ghost God so if i choose "Looking for faction" and pay the fee then a post will be posted on the message board saying "Ghost God is looking for a faction! View Character Profile Here!" with a button linked to my char profile. Posts should probably have a 1 week time limit before being taken down however you could pay for a longer duration or simply repost. This will allow players to interact more and it'll be a simple fun thing for amusement.

If I were to click View Posts then I will be able to see a list of people who are either Looking for a faction, Looking for ally for NPC, Looking for Challenge Partner, or even a complete list of the "Did You Knows" that we see after every match.

15) Buyable NPCS to help with these impossible bosses. For a fee you can buy certain NPCS (Permanently) to help you in any boss fight you choose. There should also be a solo option for a hiher rating cheevo


16) Toggle option to show % for players and Faction leaders


17) Rewards for winning a champ not 2500 for everyplayer and 1k infl people will alt to win so to prevent this the faction that wins a 1v1 champ takes 100k credits and every player gets a % of this 100k based on the % of his wins
For example i did 100 wins my faction did 1k wins then i get 10% from the 100k this will allow people to play fairly to get credits for thier main accounts


18) boss win counter


19) pvp rewarding influence within battle


20) Pvp drops (broken weapons is a good example)


21)Friday power day since this is the day the majority of the player base is on due to no school.


22)Gifting system returned in a more balanced way where everyone can do it and possibly a dailly gift lb

From there perhaps, if this idea is supported it will open up the way to many other features that players can do for fun such as placing bounties on eachothers heads which will ultimately start a "Bounty Collector" leaderboard. (I would call it the 'Bounty Hunter" leaderboard but that seems a little biased). The way I see this being done is that along with those three options of "Looking for faction", "Looking for ally for NPC" and "Looking for Challenge Partner" there will be the option to "Set a bounty" on a certain player in the game whether it be a friend or foe. Once the button is clicked you enter the characters name upon whom you want to set a bounty on and you must pay a fee. Once the fee is paid and Bounty is submitted it is posted on the board and a message goes into the Players mail that will say something like "A bounty has been placed on your head!" (or osmething more creative).

Now here's the twist. The fun doesn't end with tons of players gunning after this character to collect the Bounty along with a single "Bounty Collector Point" that is added towards the "Bounty Collector Leaderboard". Two things can happen to the player who has a bounty on his or her head. The Player either loses a match and the bounty ends OR survives 25 pvp battles and is awarded one point on the "Bounty Survivor" leaderboard. After the player survives, the bounty ends.

In case there is hassle in adding another "All-time" to the Leaderboards then maybe the bounty points can go towards a Special NPC Bounty Shop (Preferably held by Nightwraith) where the players who survived a bounty or collected a bounty could use their points that they have acquired to purchase special in-game items.

Then again, there are many alternative ways you can proceed with this idea. I think the most imperative thing though is just taking the first step to putting something like this in game.

I am fully aware of things that can happen to try and cheat the system such as low level abuse or multiple accounts but what are the chances that they won't run into someone else gunning after that point!

Actually all those ideas are great if u let me add one that I'm sure will make alot of players return.

Making each class unique in it's own way like passives back then cuz really now every class has almost same style.

Things like Remorse's separate passive skill tree I'm pretty sure if they did so alot of players will return.

EDIT: Oh and things like a button to make your wins/loses visible or hidden.

And selling upgrades while keeping the weapon because sometimes players may have weapons they don't use and get financial problems and they forced to sell them while they need the weapon for it's rarity or maybe cuz it's rare.

Yes feel free to add. I agree with making each class unique, that's what this game REALLY needs. And what do you mean by the last part?

I mean if u have an upgraded armor for example the Platinum Pride but u don't use it and u need credits but u don't want to sell it for it's rarity maybe u can sell all it's upgrades and still keep it.

These are mostly faction-based things.

In the current system, tiny factions are meant only for friends, and there are rarely any new factions which quickly rise to power. The same small pool of a few tens of factions are the dominant superpowers that will never be removed from their position for the next couple years if not longer. This makes adding new faction systems ineffective in bringing in new/returning players for the most part, and only serves to keep the already active players here, in which case they probably wouldn't have left anytime soon anyways.

Aside from the faction things majority of the rest are tiny cosmetic things which really won't make any impactful or extremely noticeable changes.

Searching for factions, community board, and hiring NPCs are all cool ideas though. A stronger enforcement of community would really turn the game around the most, and not in the way that benefits only the elite players of the top factions. I still think that my previous suggestion of adding a "hotspot room" list to the world map to show which rooms currently have the most players in them would really give newer players a more welcoming feel, and any similar suggestions that have the same effect would really benefit the game a ton.

Out of the remaining 500 players I guarantee you half of them only play this game for 2 things. Factions or ranks

I don't think they'll be leaving anytime soon. The dev's efforts should really be leaned more towards keeping the brand new players in the game, or to keep the players not obsessed with faction quotas entertained.

Hey, we gotta start somewhere. If I had to guess I would say that there are 500 loyal players. At least 400 only care about factions/ranks and at least 300 are in a faction. Besides, when was the last time we had a faction update?

@Coolboy: Oh so removable cores? yessss, that for sure.

If you're talking about a good faction update, not in a looong time, lol.

Most war updates pertain to factions IMO, but they really have been kinda bland as of late. More dynamic faction v. faction-type events or systems could be very interesting though.

Faction competition was already diminished when the Devs used Influence as points for the Wars ( i.e Frysteland , Infernal Infiltration ) , resulting in making the top Faction players back then to have their work become obsolete because of how easy is Influence to get where back then before the Wars it was harder ( plus a faction ) , and were also used in World Dominations . So yeah , it's pretty much too late anyway to make competition up and running .

The statement above is the reason why Factions are no longer having a use in the general term .

i think factions need new weapon cannons that are different from the last for leveling up and for useing them it increases the tier for them just an idea

Exactly. Those cannons can be from HQs and could increase with the amount of influence your faction has that day and will fire once every 5000 influence (Faction influence for that day)
