Thanks again. After reading this I have a few more questions.

1) So the reset will be on July 26th, 2016 right?(Correct me if I am wrong) Does that means I can still play from now until the 26th?Or not?

2) It seems like "there will be big changes in the exp curve and the way items are obtained" as stated in the news link I posted above. Can you state roughly what are the changes?(If possible)

3) A few lines after the above sentence, it states that "Weapons, armor and items are now MUCH harder to obtain in game." This made me want to try and complete the quests and get the appropriate items. However is it worth getting it now or get it when the reset happens? I am currently level 7 and just starting Doomwood Forest and have completed all the previous ones. Roughly about how long will it take me to complete all of the remaining quests? And will I reach level 12 upon the completion of all the quests?

4) With that, what are some items that are worth getting in the process? I want to obtain items that would help me out after the reset through the whole level range. So, if possible can you state the level appropriate items to obtain?

5) Where can I usually ask for help for a tough boss fight? Usually there's no people fighting it and even where there is people in that area and when I ask for help, they are usually doing their own quests or idling.

i apologize if I am asking too much questions but I just want to know about it more in detail so the most optimum thing can be done.

EDIT: Since there will be a gold/exp reset, what do you think I should spend my measly 4000 gold on? Or should I earn more for now and spend on something better?(If possible state the items)

@Zippleclopper:

1) Yes, and you can play after.

2) No info on that. I don't think the staff has clearly said anything about it.

3) I think you can complete the three Doomwood areas in... eight hours, tops. Plenty of time, I'd say.
And yes, you'd most likely be level 12 by when you finish the last quest.

4) Can't help you on that front, though I'd recommend to craft the Exoblade with the materials you can get from the Umbral Caves (Dungeon in Doomwood Graveyard), unless you already have the Deathly Zed Sword as an option for a level 12 weapon. The Ashen set (plate, gauntlets, pauldrons and boots), which is dropped by Skeletons in Doomwood Forest is a good idea, too.

5) Battleon is a good place to ask for help, I'd say. There is always somebody hanging out there.

Thanks for the response. Man, eight hours, will sure take quite awhile. However is it worth doing it now or should I do it when the reset happens?

I am asking this because it seems like there will be some big changes when it happens and it felt really hard trying to kill those skeletons as they keep dodging my attacks and outdamage me and usually a few would come and attack me aggressively when I tried to kill one only. The skeletons are level 10 and I am level 7 and it seems like I have to get lucky to beat it. Any advice on how to make the fights easier?

Ashen Set seems like it's for level 10 but I am only level 7 currently, Would using the level 2 Alpha Knight Set be alright at this level? Or are there any other alternatives?

Also are the quest items' drop rates relatively low?

I'd say you leave completing all the quests for after the reset. However, they are a good source of exp and money, which brings us to our next point:
Doomwood Forest is a level 9/10 area, so you're underlevelled. Go complete a few quests from previous areas to level up., and then farm the drops you want.

While the Alpha Knight set is good, at level 7 it's a bit outdated. Go through the Trolluk Cave and complete the quests to get a good weapon, and with some luck Pebblars will drop equipment pieces that are better for your level. Items dropped from the mobs in Greenguard South are ok as well, but a bit lower level.
Ideally, your equipment should be, at most, two/three levels below you, or your own level.

Remember that you're farming this equipment now so that the post-reset game will be easier for you, so don't worry too much about your current level. Otherwise, you could farm for gold (I suggest farming King Sneed, who drops Shipping Label x2 at a fairly decent rate, which sell for 100 gold each), and buy equipment at the shops in Battleon.

The quest items in Doomwood Forest appear to have a lower drop rate than in previous areas, yes. I'd say between 50% and 30%, depending what quest you're doing (though there are some that have higher drop rates, and some are 100%).

Thanks again. I was about to say that I have completed all the quests at the Greenguard area but when I checked it again, I found out that I haven't start doing the quests at Greenguard South so that is probably why I am underleveled. I only found that out after I have completed the quests at Doomwood Forest(some nice people there helped me out with the boss) and was level 9 at that time. After completing the quests at Greenguard South, I reached level 10 which enabled me to use the Ashen Set. I then proceed to the next area which is Doomwood Graveyard.

I was half way done with the quests at Doomwood Graveyard and reached level 11 but I sort of stopped doing it because it was kind of tedious and the monsters were tough and really aggressive. At that point I feel that I should just try and get the items after the reset(I have played for over 6 hours earlier just now)because I have other real life things to attend to.

However I then remembered about Alpha Knight II Set and felt like obtaining it before the reset rather than completing the quests. I have obtained the Belt and the Boots (took me like over an hour) but haven't obtain the rest. Shoulderplates and Helm are pretty tough as there monsters at the bridge(especially Gathmor)are really tough. Nobody is actually fighting Gathmor though. I am planning to get the Gloves currently but apparently it requires 30000 gold while I only have 11000. I tried to get some gold by killing King Sneed but the drop rate doesn't seem to be really high. I have to kill it a few times(like around 5) before the Shipping Labels drop. Is the drop rate the same for the Sneevils or is it lower?

LAST question for now/until the reset happens. Are there any alternatives for farming fast gold other than Shipping Labels from King Sneed? If no, then how should I spend my 11000 gold?

I really want to get the Alpha Knight Gloves because I think that gold might be much harder to earn after the reset(as stated at the Open Beta news)so I think getting the gold-expensive items first would be better.

Since you're level 11, you could start farming the Skeletons at Doomwood Tower (remember to use Warrior or Mage, since they're good at taking on more mobs at once). Another option is farming the Boogerlings and Slime Lord in Yulgar's Sinkhole, but the Skeletons are a bit faster. Not only they give good gold, the junk items they'll drop will help your pockets (they sell for 50 gold each). On the other hand, if you haven't completed the quests in the Sinkhole, you should: they're good for farming, and at the end of the questline you'll get the Deathly Zed Sword, which is currently the best weapon in-game.

The drop rate of Shipping Labels should be the same among all Sneevils (Sneevils, King Sneed, Cave Sneevils), but King Sneed has the benefit of dropping two at a time, while the other Sneevil mobs drop only one.

And you're definitely right in wanting to farm gold for Cysero's Horn of Generosity now: the other Alpha Knight quests are relatively easy to complete (the only hard one is killing Gathmor ten times), and will remain that way. However, Gold will probably get harder to earn (though that also means prices will be adjusted), so focus on getting those 30,000 coins.

Can anyone confirm if Ixtis Harvester really drops Chitin Piercer? I killed it 60+ times and never got a single one, and some people in game said it is dropped by Hulking Spider.

The wiki says it's dropped by Ixtis Harvester, so you're probably just having bad luck.

The Hulking Spider drops the Acid Worn Blade, which is used to craft the Exoblade, so I guess the guys who told you that Hulking Spider dropped Chitin Piercer mixed the two weapons up.

I can confirm that the boss (Ixtis Harvester) DOES drop the Chitin Piercer. I have gotten it twice out of 100+ times I've done the dungeon. It's just a very low drop rate.

Thanks David. So I have reached level 12 and now have the complete Alpha Knight II set and obtained the Deathly Zed Sword as well as the Brutal Horn. There is still the Brain Slime but I don't think its really worth farming for. I wanted to get the Pebblar Set(so I can use it when I reach level 6 after the reset)but I don't really have the motivation to do so as the drop rate is pretty low so I think I will skip that as well.

(I know I said that's the last question in my previous post because I thought I wouldn't complete the quests before the reset but since I did, I have a few more questions)

Are there any other items which are worth obtaining right now? I am currently using the Alpha Knight II Set with Capestarter. Also, is there a better cape than it?

Currently I have a leftover gold of 5700 after buying the Horn of Generosity, so how should I spend it?

I finally got the Chtiin Piercer, but from the Hulking Spider... so maybe both bosses drop it.

@Zippleclopper: Well, if you feel like it, the Blue Flying Eyes in Greenguard South drop the Azure Sword, which is a pretty nice level 5 weapon. The drop rarity is the same as the Ashen Set and Pebblar set, but the Blue Flying Eyes are weaker mobs than both.

Regarding capes: Capestarter is an awesome piece of equipment for being a level 1 item. It could be overclassed by the Red Cape in Faith's Shop (6000 Gold, +22 Health, +22 Mana, +15 Attack), but it boils down to whether you prefer higher damage and HP/MP (Red Cape), or an improved Crit at the cost of a bit of Health and Mana (Capestarter: +18 Health, +18 Mana, +10% Crit).

As to what spend gold on: how big is your potion stack? Building up a stack of these might prove quite useful in the post-reset game.

Anyone know the times when there would be enough people at doomwood bridge to beat Gathmore?

edwardvulture, above:
There's not really a gurantee that you'll actually find players that wants to defeat him. Truth is that about 90% of all players are now farming gold to get the Talon items and since almost all players has gotten eveything they need form all quests, they simply ignore him. He also doesn't drop anything important that is very intresting for the players.
There are players that wants to defeat him, but it's very rare that there's a larger group. Last time I tried to help aroudn with Gathmore there was only 3 players *me included*.

You could ask in other areas if they could help you, mainly in Battleon where most people hang around. Even if you do find a larger group of people there is another problem: it might be hard to meet up all in one palace due to the game sends you to the location randomly. Everyone might not get in the same room.

I wish you good luck!

Thanks again David. I have already obtained the Azure Sword from the Blue Flying Eyes when I was completing the quests at Greenguard South, so that's good I guess. I currently have zero potions so I might go and grab some of those.

Again, I would thank you and Undead Lunatics for helping me out. I apologize again if I have annoyed you guys by asking too much.

I finally made an account. Two, actually and that is the problem. The first was made using the wrong email address and I linked it to AQW before I realized my error. So, using the right email, I try to link it and it gives me a message which reads:
"This AQWorlds account has already been linked to another AQ3D account."
I hope there is a way to have this fixed.

The second issue I have is from the Kickstarter. I donated way back when and I didn't give them my email until today. I'm hoping for the bonuses to the account and the codes to use in the other games.

You'll need to contact the help team to get your account issues resolved. You can do so from http://account.aq3d.com/Help/.

I'm not sure about the Kickstarter issues but the help team could probably assist you with that as well since it's account related.

Do you mean EXP/Gold boosts? If so they can be bought in the potion menu.

Guys for some odd reason when I skiped the intro and went directly to battleon. My machines freezes and my CPU skyrockets and I have to force AQ3D down because my Machine gives me a warning.

BTW my laptop is an Asus G752 and has a GTX 970 I cant believe I cant play this game at all.

Is there a level requirement to stop monsters from constantly going aggro on you? The ones with red circles at their feet when you click on them.

I don't know if there is a level requiremet but if it helps I am two level above the Frogzards in Greenuard and they no longer attack me, so I'm under the impression that losing agrro level might be two level higher then the monster EG level 2 Frogzard will leave you alone if you are level 4 but not if yuo are level 3.

Nevermind it is not the same for Sneevils. Appears to be random.

A question about timers: Do they only activate when logged on or constantky? For example, if I crafted a sword that took a hour can I log off come back in a hour and log back in to see it done? And how does that aplly to boosts? Does it do the same or do boosts only aplly when logged on?
