No. Just...no. We have a problem, here. What we have, here, is a failure to communicate. Draysin! Your attention please. The latest post from you has, ultimately, three separate instances of miscues that culminate in effective bunnying. That goes against rule #4 of the Role Playing Boards as a whole. The least significant of the three has already been addressed by TD in the post above this, and is nominally insignificant on its own because it was overall a theatrical/cinematic bunny of description with TD's admission of, perhaps, leaving it a bit too open-ended. The second count is much more impactful, and is with regards to your treatment of Hideyoshi. You took a noted intent, and declared its flavor and mannerism...while also completely changing the relative positions of Yeni and Hideyoshi to do so. This is a confusing error of positions, but it is also rather simply an instance of bunnying. One which could have been entirely avoided with a simple PM to Caststarter or an open question here in the OOC to get the confirm the relevant details. "If I did this, would you dodge as intended? May I ask the details how, so I can include them in my post?" The essence, if you will, of collaboration. The third count also has a great deal of impact for the environment. The spire does not crumble, the environmental hazard is not compromised, because the material does not work that way. I am, partially, at fault I suppose for not noticing how you snuck in the additional detail of hedron creation from any material when you resubmitted the biography for Ywris. That is my fault, yes. However, I already provided you information enough to suggest that you could not alter the lightning spire. Further, I alluded to other details of its true nature that are very keenly relevant here, if only you had asked to see if your new idea was feasible. The metal of the spire does indeed reflect a kind of biology itself, including that of regrowing any damage done to it and an auto-immune response that normally would only really matter if a golem were made out of it. Over time, such as the entirety of the Paragon Phase, it would begin to resist being turned into hedrons at all, but it would still regrow any converted tidbits. Usurpation of an arena's hazard source is, itself, a form of bunnying especially since I am right here to be asked for details and go-ahead at any time. Not only that, but I already told you once that you wouldn't be able to affect the spire. Since I have your attention, other issues have also arisen which present problems. Your treatment of the hedrons has drifted from what I understood to be a singular entity and has moved thoroughly into Swarm territory. The EC specific rule 5 is now also applying to this decision. Which in some ways eases the burden of Directorship but that doesn't make me feel any better about it. Ultimately, these factors are cumulative, and in combination with the slipshod treatment of details and mix of in-character time disruptions to date...I am sorry to say but you are being disqualified at this time. You bit off more than you could chew, as the saying goes, with what appeared to be a very interesting and unique character. I look forward to having you back next year, in the hopes that a bit of refinement will bring the potential seen at the bio stage into a fuller light of presentation and post strength. On a much more pleasant note, questions to be answered! Dwelling! Fountain Arena is an open-air arena, the 'ceiling' upon which the spire is anchored to is, constructively, the sum total of magical protections for spectators. It does not halt the flow of air or its circulation (though it has triggers in the case of airborne dangers like poisonous fumes and such). The ozone created by the strikes would not collect into a layer within the arena. The scent is strong because it has permeated the air thoroughly after repeated strikes, but it rises clear via natural circulation over time rather than building up.
