Once you insert a core into an armor or weapon that already has an older core, the core you inserted will replace the older core and the older core will be gone. But what if you want to keep the older core while inserting another core in your armor or weapon? So why not make cores removable without getting rid of it? And the cores that were originally locked onto a weapon or armor should be unsellable, not take up any inventory space, and be able to be inserted to only the weapon or armor that it was originally locked on to. So for an example, if you have Dage's Skull Boomstick, you can remove the core spread fire, but the spread fire core will be unsellable and be only able to be inserted to the weapon it was originally locked on to, which is in this case, Dage's Skull Boomstick
