I'm a level 38, and I just lost to a rank 53/58 (idk) called Barnacus. I got him down to 90, after skipping a turn because of lag. That would have gotten me 40-50 damage, so let's just say that I got him down to 50 health. Now, without ranks, I would have been the clear winner. However, the 12 round battle led to me being attacked 10 times, which becomes a total of 300 extra damage taken by me. I attacked 8 times, and that led to him taking 240 less damage than me. 240+300 is a 540 hp advantage by the end, which is almost certainly enough to decide who wins and who loses. Now we'll factor in Underdog, which was level 6. 12 extra damage for my weapons, 12 extra def/res values. But in reality, I only have 8 more stat points, because of the level difference. So that's unfair. So I have 4 more damage on my weapons and 4 more def/res on my armour. That becomes 72 more health at the end of the fight. 540-72=468. So how is that fair?
