Well i was thinking about the skills with a weapon requirement and I have found a interesting idea who might make the class weapons back. Things to have in mind: -First of all, most of skills with weapon requirement are strength atacks: Double Strike, Berzerker, Maul, Massacre, Cheap Shot, Venom Strike, Fireball and Atom Smasher (it isn't an atack but improve with weapon damage). 8 skills that improve with the damage. So this make me thing that strength builds are suposed to use a class weapon (Club, Staff or Wrist Blade) -The differences between swords and class weapons are that the sword have more damage and stats. I guess because the CW allow you to use some "strong" skills. My suggestion is that sword just have more stats (better for focus, dexterity, tech and support builds) and the CW have more damage (better for strength builds). CW have been missed and in strange cases people use them, so with this suggestion I try to make people use them. It will be better if it makes a big different between both kind of weapons, because this will make sure that players will find out that in some cases the sword is the best and that in other cases the CW is better. This might be like this: -Swords: Stats points between 28 (current number) and 36 (in the case of 36, the max. will be 16 per stat) . Damage between 350-310. -CW: Stats 23 (current number) and 16(in the case of 16, the max. will be 6 per stat). Damage between 360 and 380. With the extreme option you will change 10 stats for 70 damage, and upside down. *Note: The number of stats might be to low or something might need to be fixed, so it can be changed, I just wanted to bring specific data. General advantages and disadvantage about weapons: -CW: *Use strength buidls *Stronger primary *Stronger strength skills *Wil be able to use all (or most) of strength skills. *Less weapons stats *They will have less chance of deflection/block/crit. *Fighting a stat abusser, he will have more chance of deflection/block/crit. *The skills that increase with stats will be worst. -Swords: *Variety of builds: Focus, Dex, Tech and Support (except of TM/BM because they need a CW for Overload) *High stats *More chance of deflection/block/crit. *Less chance of getting cri/deflect/blocked. *Skills that improve with stats will be better. *Less damage with primary. *Strength skills worst. Note: This give many advantage and disadvantage to both side, so this wont make strenght really op. How will afect builds and with each class if it's posible: -Strength: Basically higher damage, and chance of use all strength skills, with less stats. *Bounty Hunter: Cheap Shot, Massacre and Poison will be stronger,. This class be good because will get back a lot of health by Mark of Blood. Maybe energy primary using first Mark of Blood, Smoke and then Meteor Shower P might be a good combination. Also many builds can be used like: poison with cheap shot/ cheap shot and massacre/low smoke, cheap shot and massacre (but experience will let us know the builds). *Cyber Hunter: Might back with their massacre build: as BH it will have a strong Cheap Shot, Poison and Massacre with a good gained energy by Static Charge. *Tech Mage: Bludgeon, Fire Scythe will deal more damage and Assimilation will drain more energy. *Blood Mage: As BH, this class will be able to get back a lot of health. Bludgeon will be a strong atack and firebolt might be used because all strengths will use CW (but in my opinion this skill still needs a buff, probably it should increase it's damage. By the way I don't know if this was suggested before: it might be replaced again by Berzerker.) *Tactical Mercenary: A good improvement, Frenzy will be stronger as Poison and 2 skills that are not used can now be usseful: Double Strike and Atom Smasher (This one will take a big amount) *Mercenary: The class with the most advantage, since all their strenght skills are with a CW. All those skills will deale more damage (Maul, Berzeker and Double Strike) and Static Smash the amount drained will be higher. Strength builds for this class will be pretty op (to be honest like it must be). -Dexterity Suposed to use sword, in general they will be improved by having higher stats. They will have more chance of making a block, more defense and resistance; and an stronger gun and own skills. *Bounty Hunter: Stronger Stun and Multy, this class wont feel the change of primaries' damage. *Cyber Hunter: Stronger Multy, although this build is not used. But with a worst static charge. *Tech Mage: Stronger Multy. The assimilation will take less energy however, this will still being a good build. *Blood Mage: The same advantage of TM, this build for this class might work because it won't fell the reduction of the primary's damage. Even it can be an advanage vs other classes with sword. *Tactical Mercenary: I have tryed this build with support and it worked, with higher stats Stun Grenade will be stronger and it will have a higher chance of stun and criting. This can work even though the frenzy will get weaker. -Tech (Without focus): Stronger skills and chance to get a deflection: *Tech Mage: This will make negative changes, because Plasma Bolt and Super Charge required a Staff. Solution take the requeriment of this skills and put the requeriment of a Staff for Bludgeon and Fire Scythe (That will have more sence if the change of primaries' is implemented) *Cyber Hunter: To this class I'd like to say a suggestion, change the Multy with a new skill that improve with tech or just make it to improve with tech (Will have more sence, BH has 2 skills that improve with dex. So why can't CH has 2 tech skills?), It is supposed to be a class "technologically advance". It might use an only tech build with this new skill, Plasma Graneda, EMP graneda and Static Charge (which will be weaker). -Support: *Tech Mage: Will make it hard to use if CWs give low stats and high damage. *Blood Mage: Same as TM. *Tactical Mercenary: Will be better, because it doesn't need a Club. *Mercenary: Same as TLM with difference that it will be affected by the reduction of the energy drained. -Focus Will be better for all of the classes since all focus builds use sword. Stronger bot, More tank, stronger skill (if there is any) and higher buff. *Bounty Hunter: Smoke and Static Grenada will improve. Also higher Energy Resistance and Reflex Boost. *Cyber Hunter If the suggestion that made before is added this class will be good again. The only thing is the Static Charge. *Tech Mage: Better malf but worst assimilation. Higher Matrix Defense and Technician. *Blood Mage: Stronger Plasma Cannon and higher Energy Resistance and Reflex Boost. Also a better Intimidate for str. *Tactical Mercenary: Better Mineral Armor and Surgical *Mercenary: A better bunker, Surgical, BC, Intimidate and Hybrid Armor (that is like a x2 because of dex and tech). But with problem of a less energy drained. Problems about this suggestion and their solutions(if I got any): -Plasma Bolt and SuperCharge requieres Staff but with this change a build with this wont get any advantage with the staff. As I said before this skills should be used with a sword, it will have more sence and will work with the change. -Static Charge takes energy based on your primary damage, at max it takes 60% (increase with support). 60% of 360 (Current sword damage) is 216, if the sword damage get lowered to 310 the energy drained will be 186, so you will lose 30. I suggest to improve the energy you get to 70% that will be 217. Obviusly you will get a lot more from a Strenght build, but this will be good because you will be able to use massacre (which need a LOT of energy) -Static Smash will be pretty good with a strength build because of primary damage but with another build it will weak. Now the Energy drained is 75% and the energy you get is 60% at level max, my suggestion is to increase the energy taken to 87% and lowered the energy you get in 36% to 56% or something like that. Example: Now: 360 is the sword damage: You will take 270 (75% of primary damage) and get 162 (60% of taken, and improve with str) With the change: 310 sword damage: You will take 270 if you take 87% of primary damage and get 162 with the same 60% but I guess it might improve with support or tech because it will be better for focus and wont make this skill so strong for strenght (with this 87% it would take 331 if CW is 380 and you will gain 198) -Suport builds for TM and BLM will be weaker. (havent thought a solution yet) Things that this change can make: -Make players use CW again. -Make players use some strength skills that were dead. -Variey of builds. -Debuff assimilation, it just will be good with a strenght build. -Debuff Frenzy: this skill is making TLM really strong. -Make Mercenary back. -Make back CH strenght
