Could we make this like what happened to poutrine golem? Having the effect multiplied by monster fire resistance, so instead of static -128 LUK for 1 turn, it could be -128 * (monster fire res) LUK for 1 turn

Actually, just tested on zarnado and it does -256 LUK

    quote:

    Chilly

    MC Ice pet

Works exactly like Dunamis+Thernda+Poelala, but is locked to Ice instead of being locked to Melee/Ranged/Magic.

He gives a +(0.2 + 0.2*[Your STR]/[VStat]) boost to Ice Melee attacks damage.
He gives a +(0.2 + 0.2*[Your DEX]/[VStat]) boost to Ice Ranged attacks damage.
He gives a +(0.2 + 0.2*[Your INT]/[VStat]) boost to Ice Magic attacks damage.
(If for some reason it's boosting an attack that isn't Melee/Ranged/Magic, then it uses CHA. I can't imagine a situation where this occurs*, but I figure I should mention it.)

This affects all normal player attacks, weapon specials, and spells. This is multiplied by *4/3 for Magic weapon attacks, and /2 for spells.

Chilly slowly grows more powerful for low-level players and less powerful as you level up.
    • BUFFER = 20
    • If your level is between [PowLvl] and [PowLvl+BUFFER], then there's no adjustment.
    • Otherwise:
      • If PowLvl > PlayerLvl, then AdjustedLvl = PlayerLvl
      • If PowLvl < PlayerLvl, then AdjustedLvl = PlayerLvl - BUFFER
      • The boost is multiplied by (5.25 + 0.5625*PowLvl + 0.00375*PowLvl^2)/(5.25 + 0.5625*AdjustedLvl + 0.00375*AdjustedLvl^2)
(So if you have a version that's somehow PowLvl 100, then everything's the same while you're Lv100 to Lv120. If you're Lv99 or lower and somehow get it, then the boost is increased. If you're Lv121 or higher, then the boost is decreased.)
(Yes, this means that the PowLvl 153 version will always provide a slightly-higher-than-normal boost, 'cause you can only reach Lv150 and 150<153. This is intended.)

EDIT: Sorry, forgot the package boost. It's there now.

^So Chilly pet's MC is that it uses player's mainstat instead of CHA right? Which if I am not wrong is basically an upgraded version of the MC that Poe/Dun/Thern gets.
    1) Right 2) It's more sideways, than up, because Poe/Dun/Thern are locked to $weapontype and Chilly is locked to $element. ~IMR

You cap at +15% damage on the weapon and pet. Each fight you clear with the weapon/pet has a (RoundEquipped/TotalRounds) chance to give MurderKillosity based on the mob's Power. A normal mob will give 100% MK when using the weapon (*0.75 if using the Magic version), and 40% when using the pet. 200% Power mobs give double MK, 125% Power mobs give *1.25, etc. You can hold up to 2000% MK total. You can click the weapon or pet during a battle to spend some MK to deal +5% damage using that item for the remainder of the current battle. You spend 100% MK when using the Melee/Ranged weapon, 75% when using the Magic weapon, and 40% when using the pet. As I said above, this stacks up to 3 times per item.

    Update, from Kam: Four-Eyed Freak

Neutral element pet. Has two attacks, one that does 1 hit each of Light/Earth/Water/Fire, and one that does 2 hits of Harm damage. 50% chance to do either attack, an omni element attack has a *132/109 (or +21.1%) damage boost. While a Harm attack has a -10% penalty. So just gonna apply both so that both attacks deal +11.1% damage.

Wind pet, works exactly like the weapon, except MirderKillosity that you gain and spend have a *0.4 multiplier. So it'll gain only (MobPower*0.4)% MK per battle, but you also only have to spend 40% MK in order to give it +5% damage for the rest of the fight. Again, this can stack up to 3 times for +15% damage.

[Has since been updated; can consume MK up to 4 times/fight for +20% damage.]

Uh, but what if the pet already has Celerity (via a time weapon/shadowfeeder pendant/etc)? Wouldn't the MC be wasted in those cases since the status doesn't stack (compared to say a +5% dmg pet)? Though it only happens 10% of the time so I suppose it's not that big of a loss.

Yes. Standard advice is to not use the two items together. ~IMR

My Tiny Void Pwny's damage is listed as 0 to 0 on the free server.

    Should be fixed. Thanks! ~IMR

Is Randor supposed to deal *0.8 damage when dealing Harm-element? (Since you said the Harm penalty is *0.9)

Not sure if I should put this here, or suggestions, but here goes:

Can someone please put a condition on the pet and guest versions of Fruitcake Zard, so that they revert to damage attack if enemy is already paralyzed?

I often run a double Fruitcake Zard setup against Energy monsters, and it stinks wasting the damage of the pet when the guest paralyzes.

    Thanks
