I got unity 3d installed but unity keeps telling me their is a fatal content error. Has anyone been able to get it to work in linux?

You should do a full, clean uninstall of the plugin/program from your system, then empty ALL of your browser's cache, then do a new full install of Unity from an official source. Try that first.
