What if the core gave a bonus deppending on the max stat of your opponent instead of the difference between the higher and lower stat?
This bot isnt so strong, and less fighting a focus. The damage gain fighting a focus would be between 40 and 50.
And the bot would just do 430, or around that.
IA can do 500 damage in a focus.
And vs a abuser stat, this bot would do 600 damage, while Monkakazi will do 500.
With this change, Monkakazi will do 480 vs focus, and probably around 600 vs a stat abusser.
Its a promo bot, it should be stronger.

The Monkakazi is a robot that is suppose to aim at one type of build which in this case is stat abuse builds kind of like how the katarax works best against strength builds. It is never made to be a universal robot like the infernal android. Also just because it is a promo bot =/= it should be more powerful than a non promo robot. That is power creep and it is something the staff has been working hard to get rid off not promote.

^ I'm sure he didn't mean it should be stronger than a non-pomo bot, but it should be stronger, in general. Even the numbers he mentioned are not even bigger tyan IA's one.

The bot fails to compete with IA so a buff would probably put it on par with IA and other bots. The bot is from a promo pack, but it is coming back again for credits in 9 - 10 monhs, so we aren't talking about an exclusive long term buff to var players, like for instance a buff for gamma bot (which is needed but well).

If this bot gets buffed, it will most certainly add variety to the game, we don't have a physical IA, so maybe Monkakazi should fill up that space with replicting an OP IA.

You are right, this bot isnt supossed to be universal. Its supposed to work with stats abussers, but give me a reason to chose Monkakazi instead of IA.
Unblockable core? We dont have players abusing tech, so IA is perfect. Stats abusser will just deflect it with luck.

Hm another idea came to me:
Maybe it should give more damage deppeding of the result fo dividing the highest stat with the lowest stat.
Exampe: 23 multiplied by the result of dividing the highest stat with the lowest stat. That's how to calculate the extra damage
Will work like this:

Support build:
Highest stat: Support 130
Lowest stat: Dexterity 19
How to calculate the bonus:
1)130/19= 6,8
2)6,8x23= 156

Focus build:
Highest stat: Tech 90
Lowest stat: Strength 45
How to calculate the bonus:
1)90/45= 2
2)2x23= 46

Here you will have a difference of 110 damage between a stat abusser and a a focus.
Now, the bot would give an extra 111 damage in the first example, and 45 in the second.
The bot will have a good buff vs stat abusers, while it will still working as it do now vs focus.
It will do over 550 in a stat abuser. A good buff, enought to make it better than IA vs stat abusers.
