@above. not exactly that... i mean, surely, the main point of the discussion is if what the rose is doing is right or not what lyrein is trying to show is that, in the hypothetical scenario that the rose was on power on book 1 already, they might've stopped the big threats before they actually became big enough to be nearly unstoppable that is kinda holding true for pretty much all villains we've had so far, so, basically speaking, the point is, rose's method aren't good, but they get the job done, they are indeed protecting the people, which is why the rose is more of a grey antagonist instead of a clear enemy, it's an organization that does it's job in helping people, even if they hurt others in the process... which is a lot better than what alteon was doing, in which he lost his whole army to a single mage (granted, it was a SUPER DUPER MEGA POWERED MAGE, but well, he wasn't able to do anything after that was he? the rose on the other hand is doing a good job keeping people protected... even if they are hurting magical beings in the process, so, a grey organization, has good and bad points to it)
