as some may know, aqw has a toolbar that used to display aqw character info and was meant as a way to get a few free acs by using it for searching purposes. what i suggest is updating it to have quick links to aq3d, aq3d dns & ones own aq3d character page with the ability to add the links manually as one would with a bookmark

Speaking of which, it can't be downloaded anymore. It keeps saying its corrupted. That's not good!

It was developed with a 3rd party, who have since been spoken of as doing shady things. Even Captain Rhubarb has adviced against using it. If anything, we should probably have an entirely new toolbar made, if one is to be used at all.

But I do not understand the need for what you suggest. It sounds like all you suggest are shortcuts to content, which as you suggested, can already be achieved using bookmarks in most browsers.

bookmarks get cluttered easily and the battle bar was always more useful as a way to get around. also, when i said add the links manually i meant in the same manor as these char page links next to the pm button. it would be good to have toolbar for navigational purposes that doesn't require you to clutter the bookmark bar. as for the 3ed party bit, thats even more of a reason to update it or move it to a different site while removing the 3ed part from it completely
it never really did much more then provide easy links to http://www.aq.com/ & http://www.aq.com/aw-designnotes.asp, the character page(used to anyway). it also serves as a good note holder for room to room travel. but thats what makes it useful. either way, its not that hard to stop the 3ed party site from tracking information with it, you just got to toggle the settings in the layout manger

it would be nice if it could track levels, gold, friends online, ac/dg in both games as it used to for aqw

Fair enough, you have me sold. It would be really cool if you could also set up a party and communicate with your friends (who are in the game) from outside the game.
