 The new Shared Vault system is now Live inside AdventureQuest!
This allows you to move inventory items from your character into a separate area sharable by all the characters on your game account.

To create your new Vault
* Log into the game using a character with 500+ Z-Tokens, and access any Shop.
* Click the new "Shared Vault" button
* Type in a name for your Vault (this will show on a char page for the vault)
* Buy Vault for 500 Z-Tokens

Shared Vault comes with three slots of each item category.

To put something in your Vault:
* Access any Shop inside the game
* Click the Inventory Button
* Select an item from your list of stuff
* Click the new "Put in Shared Vault" button which is below the Sell button.
* NOTE: The button will only appear only if the item can be stored in your Shared Vault.


STORABLE IN VAULT:
Regular Gold purchase items
Gold Gift Box Items
Z-Token Package Bonus Items
HeroMart Bonus items
Omni Knight Blade


NOT STORABLE:
All Z-Token Items (will allow storage of these items soon)
Guardianship bonus items
Raffle Ticket Shop Items


Important Extra Notes:
* There is a new "View Shared Vault" link on AQ character pages to show Vault inventory.
* If you put an item in the Vault that has a higher item level than your character, you will not be able to take that item back out by that same character.
* Retrieving items from Vault is similar to Buying shop items. Same kind of requirements must be met. (level, guardian, etc)
* You can expand Vault space by buying additional slots for 100 Z-Tokens each. Up to a total amount of 50 slots per item category.
* House size does NOT increase Vault storage size.

Captain...I am sure loads of people are going to love this feature...Maybe not myself as much as I only have one character...But hey, this may encourage me to make a few more...

@ Captain: Quick question: does/will having a house/estate give extra vault slots as well?

 I'm loving this so far. Just put away my classic rares because, let's be honest, my secondary will never see the light of day and they were taking up room.
This is probably the singular most important update since the last engine release.

No it doesn't. You can have up to 50 slots in each category.

Wait, so if I want to transfer items from my lvl 150 character to my lvl 120 character, I can't do that? I'm gonna re-read that!

 In order to take something out of the vault, the character needs to be the same level as the item, and if its a guardian item, the character needs to be a guardian too.

Alright! This came out fast and seems to function very well. Great work with this. I also appreciate the cheap extra slots.

I'm just wondering about this:

Is it possible to bypass this limitation in the future? Like, add a function to the Item Upgrader to allow downgrading items as well? I kinda can't really make use of the vault just because my alternate character is a lower level :P

I like the new vault, so far.

A few more slots will be good when they happen.
I do not mind paying a few more Z-tokens for a few more slots.

Down grading items for lower level characters is okay as an idea.
But I think the gold generated should be lost, to pay for the benefit.
Most characters have far too much gold anyway by the time they reach level 140 or above.

This is so awesome, but for now I can really only use it for extra storage. A downgrading system would make this absolutely perfect.
Is Omni Knight Blade not being shareable intended? Because it works for the Ultra version...
Unless that's already obtainable by everyone, I don't remember.

Hey, capn', to make the vaults easier to transfer stuff to lower leveled characters how about creating a Downgrader function to the item Upgrader? (for 0 resource cost and return)

Thank you, long awaited vaults are finally here :)

Capn, will we ever be able to share vaults between our different game accounts? This has been addressed recently in the last discussion thread.

Just to make sure people understand this....this is mostly an issue when items get updated.

ex:

my lvl 31 has a lvl 70 undead axe

The item was originally lvl 15 but when it was updated the lowest lvl became 70.
So if I were to deposit that weapon he would not be able to withdraw it till he matched it in lvl.

edit: it's also an issue with promo items since you may be given an item above your lvl.
