I would use the bojangles out of a Unicorn battle pet class.

Although I guess thematically with my character, a knight would be the most appropriate...

Because I know there's a zero percent chance of the next battlepet class having a Darkblood pet, I figure it'd be best if we got some loyal wolf companion.

...Unless we could get a Darkblood stabbing things for us as a Battle Pet. Because that'd be amazing. Weird for a class, but amazing.

I'd like a Bear, but a Penguin (w/a shrinkray gun of course) would be cool to.
Or... we could go full Beastmaster (ala the old movie) and have a brace of Ferrets.

Eh, what kind of Monster Hunter class? What's the background? Which faction does it belong to?
I rather pick a pet that fits the class rather than picking a pet that I would want.

When I think chaotic, I think octopus. Something like Shub'hathrys. Other animals that I guess kinda resonates with a chaotic theme, by causing chaos, would be rhinos, elephants, like the monsters in bloodravine.

Not that mounts are anything too amazing in this game but I would like this class to be that. I happen to like the idea of us riding some creature into battle while also having other creatures helping us as we fight.

how about just a normal Wolf like Darkside wolf pet, but we add some change like blue eyes!

I would really want another wolf-based class. Wolves are just plain cool. However, my vote is for a phoenix (or other mythological aviary) based class, since there isn't one of them yet. I know the Beastmaster class uses a grifflet as a companion but I considered it more of a flying reptile or drake-like creature. I just want to see something with actual feathers being used as a battle companion.

Edit: well, I didn't look at all the options well enough. I somehow glossed over the hawk (or other) option. Shoot.

I'd like to see, while not necessarily a pheonix, some sort of mythological creature used as the battle-pet. Since "monsters" as we think of them today are typically mythological in nature (just think of the Chaos Beasts in this game: Harpies, Hydras and Dragons), it would make the most sense. If some sort of lore explanation is needed for WHY a monster *hunter* would be using monsters to fight monsters, perhaps say that he captured the egg/baby of a great beast he slew in the past, and raised it to be his loyal fighting companion.

 Lemming rush! Our hero should be able to force hundreds of thousands of Lemmings to rush to their deaths, overwhelming the enemy with their sheer numbers of fluffy Arvicolinae adorableness!

It'd be cool if you summoned another Monster Hunter alongside you. And it would be randomized sets, like a Warrior, Mage, or Archer.

Went for a dragon for few reasons:
1.Akriloth pet is bugged and it took me a week to get it.So it was the only non mem battledragon pet i can get.
2.The ones listed aren't much interesting or different so at least pick the best looking mainstream one
3.Imagine the monster hunter having dark red skill colors and when you use summon a giant dragon releases itself as a skill animation in flames (capoow woooosh) and out of a flaming tornado animation,eyes come out and claws and it turns into a dragon eating up the flame he is summoned from *_*. And then from other skills it summons a giant lazer light the one from LightCater or Zilla battle pet
4.Imagine if we can summon a Red/Dark red/Golden-White version of OmlZilla pet O_O
5.The Monster hunter can have items that can unlock that will be dragon themed like a dragon morph and flying claws as daggers.Same as beastmaster shop.
