I said this before on Twitter, but I'll say this here.

With this new Buy Back Shop system, if you have a weapon like the Super Mecha Cannon with the Infernal Spirit core, then replace that core with a different core like Gun Mastery for example. Then if you decide you want original core back, you just can sell the weapon and buy it back from Buy Back Shop.
Doing so, you can get the weapon with it's original core (Infernal Spirit core).
(I tested this out with my Super Mecha Cannon, it works)

This how I see all weapons and armor should be really, Delta armor or Omega weapons with locked cores. You can get the original core back by what I said above. They should unlocked at this point.
I don't even use my Delta Armor, the armor looks awesome, but to me the Curse core sucks, even if it gets buffed, I rather replace it with Eternal Protection core.

I say they might as well unlock locked cores, it be much appreciated if they did this and I don't see much problem with it doing so. You can get original core back with Buy Back Shop anyway.

I just thought of this right now, my bad.

They need to make Delta armor and Omega gear sellable.
For those who have bought the promo packages for them in the past. Of course you could sell the ones you bought from shop, but if you are gonna unlock the cores, need to make the Armor and Gear allowed to be able to sell in order to be able to get them back from Buy Back Shop.

With the Buy Back shop now in place, we could make a lot of those items sellable without issue. As for unlocking cores, it could be confusing for people who didn't know the trick for recovering the weapon with cores, especially since many cores still aren't sold in-game. I would prefer a cleaner solution to this, but if there's enough support behind this I'd strongly consider it.

The most elegant solution to me would be to simply make it possible to un-equip cores, including all the locked ones. Once the core is un-equipped, it will just sit in your inventory like any other core instead of just vanishing into thin air like they do now when they are replaced on a weapon. Then, if it makes sense and is feasible, I would also have it so the rare cores can only be re-equipped onto their original weapon.

This seems like the best option to me. People have wanted to move cores around for a while, and having to replace cores and losing credits is a shame, especially since some people who just return to the game don't have much credits to spend, moving around cores would help so they can use P and E weapons without having to spend another 16k for cores in each wep
