Nightmare must always have Terror and Horror
As there are two faces to Fear
But one runs rampant and none stand in for her
Yet still what you promised draws near.

Stones thirst for blood and blood screams for who spilled it
Where whispers turned fear into greed
Fear then the night when another greed bids it
To steal one once cleansed of the deed.

The powers have dimmed and their domains grow wild
Since dreams to reshape Lore were sown
Temptation grows on the spurned and reviled
But the choice to change must be their own

Last Gold will splinter between sun and thunder
With sister and brother deceived
A people and future could be torn asunder
Scars opening, real and perceived

A great flame defies the waning of its kin
Usurped once, now grasped at once more
But it shan’t blaze true in a pretender’s skin
And will be reclaimed from Death’s door

A zenith has come for dreams twisted and cold
This world’s veins are changing once more
The hourglass turns on one Death cannot hold
The Burning Solstice comes to Lore

- "Her" is very specific, given nightmares are mentioned. May well refer to the nightmare queen. In itself, that implies she's only one face of fear (there is another)
- "she" runs wild - well she was pretty interested in chasing zorbak. Not sure what promise is being referred to though

- The nightmare queen was being pretty greedy when she wanted zorbak.
- another greed is referenced, maybe the original greed has changed?

 This is a pretty heavy prophecy... Seems like part of it has already unraveled though?

I don't remember we promising anything to the queen though... This can bite us in the back.

Did we promise helping out in some way or another? I'm worried...

Cleansing of the deed reminds me of the Love Potion on the queen being cleansed, and steal and greed might be related to the whole thing of chasing zorby and leprechauns trying to take frostvale... Hard to be sure.

Powers dimming makes sense with the whole thing of pallys/necros losing powers... I think in Carnel's story we also heard something about the deities' powers waning...

Choice of changing must refer to Shan helping out saving Frostval and stuff.

I don't get the Last Gold part, but... Brother and Sister? I can only thing of the Lady of Light and Lord of Darkness... If they are deceived... Things can get very troubled very quickly.

This seems to relate to Akriloth, the Great Fire Orb and the Fire Dragons as a whole... A pretender's skin though? Who would be faking it?

This also makes me remember Drakath is now roaming free, and he is the previous owner of the Great Fire Orb, and was previously a dragon... Maybe he might be involved into something related to reviving Akriloth, since it's talking about reclaiming from Death's Door.

Dreams twisted and Cold... Maybe it's related to the Nightmares and to the Cold itself...

World's veins changing... Last time they changed were Necro/Pally thing... This doesn't seem good at all.

Death unable to hold seems very related to necromancy, and the Burning Solstice only brings Akriloth to mind again...


My my... This seems like a huge deal of trouble coming our way! >.<

Edit: "Warm, cold, warm, then colder and colder", that was the reply Cray-kun got me... Seems like I messed up pretty badly! xD

So Nightmare is a her : Nightmare Queen, she seeks to reign terror and horror but Terror is already reigning (Terror Set)
But we will have to keep our promise to her.

I had a feeling the pun the hour of greed(temptation) with the hour of glass(hourglass) but its quite literally ??

 There has been at least one completely accurate, however partial, assessment thus far.

I'll reiterate some hints to aid in decyphering the prophecy: You have the information to solve at least three stanzas, and not long left to find the answer to one of them on your own. For the most part, each of them refers to a separate event. There is one outlier. Identifying it will make the others easier to pin down.

Time is a river, Chosen. And there are s̸̕͡ţ̶r̷a̡͢n̢g͏̸e͏͞ ̧̢wà̢̡v̢͝e͡s ͡in̡ ͢yo̢̢͟u҉ŕ͞ ̶d͘͜r̀͠ea͏m͜͡s̀.͠

With a bitlot of nudging by Cray on discord I've gotten something out of his soundcloud hint.

The face in the image has an uncanny resemblance to balius in some places, mabye that could have to do something with dracopyres. But then again, as trapcard pointed out in discord that he wasn't really focusing on clearing out the face more than he was with the code. So the face could be entirely different. And there is a possobility that cray could be trolling us and the face is a red herring. anyways good find trapcard. Can't wait to see what all this means in the future.

 First two stanzas seem to have occurred. Cray said AliceShiki's guess for 3rd stanza was close.

Last Gold refers to leprechuan gold.
Sister and brother are the dracopyres Donovan and his sister.
The future will be uncreated aka torn asunder, because the Huntress will create dimensional scars with her claw weapon.

^ I really hope that last part is true. Death the Horseman is the only Horseman we have not seen so far. I'm pretty curious on how powerful he is compared to the others.

Well, splinter between sun and thunder is definitely are definitely a reference to the Umazen Civil War (sun and thunder referencing the Light and Energy elements of the 2 genders). The whispered prophecy mentions the sister and brother are 'deceived' by someone wanting to claim the throne. Wonder if that deceiver is the one who
spoiler:

sparked the civil war by shooting the arrows. With just a few arrows, the spark exploded into a massive civil war that will leave nothing but bloodshed behind.
. Seems like Order is being usurped by Chaos throughout Lore. Deep in Greenguard and up in Dragonspire. Who knows where else conflicts will arise next?

EDIT: Soooo I'm pretty lazy and I don't want to redo the most recent Horseman quest. Can someone help confirm if the silhouette we say at the very end of one of the quests was similar to the decrypted face depicted a few posts above?

 Brother and Sister deceived...? Ikralis is the Prime's brother? God, that's big.

And the face at the end of Burning Questions resembled Zhilo, so... They don't seem very similar.
