Basically we should be able to exit a fight under these conditions

against NPC - quit anytime
1 vs. 1 - able to quit after two turns
2 vs. 2 - can quit if ally is dead
juggernaut - juggernaut can quit after two turns while the other 2 players have the same rule as 2 vs. 2

i believe that this was suggested several times but for some unknow reason the devs utterly refuse to allow this..

Suggestion seems fine at the beginning but would you please explain

a) Why should I join Solo/Team/Jugg Battle if I want to quit?
b) What will you do if your oartner will leave in between? Don't you feel angry?
c) Granting permission to leave will help faction to win daily cheevo faster. Don't you think so?

^Because why would I stay and see myself lose?
People wanna win and no like losing which is why other games have the quit option to avoid applying "Salt to the wound".
There is RNG in this game and it comes from:
>when your enemy stuns/blocks/deflect/crits
>whoever gets the first turn
>encountering an enemy that fully counters your build
>a horrible match-up or situation against a P2W enemy
and a whole lot of situations that leads to the inevitable that it becomes a waste of time
and the worst part is the reward is low for loosing
the quitting option allows people to save time and not get punished further and ends matches faster
more ques, more fights
Though the change server option exists. It still takes more time for it to load back to the server again due to shenanigans.

b.) every gets angry about it, it's all about making sure the feelings don't erupt like a volcano :P
Also I said that a player can leave when his partner is gone in 2 vs. 2 which means as long as one of them is alive or present they cannot leave
currently your partner cannot leave unless he/she disconnect accidentally or manually via clicking change server or closing the browser or killing the internet connection :P
my change enables that person who lost his partner in 2 vs. 2 to exit the battle ending the fight if he/she knows that he/she will just get destroyed by the two remaining enemies

c.) dunno about the rules of that part but I do believe that an inactive faction deserves to lose.

This actually used to be a feature back in the day, but we removed it due to been abused by factions and alt accounts leaving early to increase their wins per hour.

well that is RIP then
Although mine has a condition in 1 vs. 1 that it has to after two rounds
only juggernaut has the option to leave immediately if it's a mismatch
and even without the quit option, it is still possible to do that strategy by clicking the change server

I agree that alting isn't a good reason not to have it because you can already leave battles simply by closing the browser or changing servers. There are already features in place to prevent alting such as battle suspensions, not allowing two accounts with the same IP to fight, and preventing two people from fighting each other more than a certain number of times in a time frame, maybe others I don't know about.

Whether or not we really need this feature is another thing but we should at least have the option to leave for NPC fights. Who likes having to wait it out or change servers every time you get the wrong skill with Pyro Fly? Especially when I'm trying to help someone with an ally boss. I've gotten suspended for running against bosses before, which just doesn't make sense.

but the 2v2 quit after partner die don't have relation to this..
