    		So I just attempted to face the RhubZard with my :L40 Character… and instead fought a :L150 "Mister Frostvaleverse?"

    …I suppose this should go to the bug section?

    EDIT: I figured it out; I hit the Void's regular "Battle" button instead of the special event button. Oops.

    It's a clone of Charming Swashbuckler, except it replaces the 6% Daze infliction with a -6 Blind infliction. And it's blue.
    FD Water armor.

    		 i'm saving up my tokens so i currently cant get the crystal faces or normal versions until later on.

    i would love a way to return to the event using one or both the paintings added during the event or at least the 15th anniversary one.

    		 RhubZard tips
    Sp attack: energy damage (later fire damage ?) [this attack has potential to deal 2000 hp damage to player (100% element modifier)]
    Normal attack: water damage

    Note 1: normal attack could reduce weapon x damage to zero (this effect will last until you win/ lose the battle)
    Note 2: normal attack could reduce spell x damage to zero (this effect will last until you win/ lose the battle)

    Mage user tip: you need 2 burst spell slots
    Misc: resistance is helpful (especially water)
    Strategy: end this battle as fast as you can (guessing sp attack element is hard after RhubZard perform second sp attack)

    This fight is fun and challenging.

    But is nonetheless trivialized by the stun meta. Seriously we need to take a look at those items (SF Pendant/Essence Orb/Love potion). A lot of fights are interesting if those didn't exist and all new challenge vosses are designed with those in mind.

    		Did they get rid of the Freedom status Rhubzard had last year? That completely shuts down basically all meta stun strats.

    		 No, but celerity still works through freedom. You basically only get hit once instead of 2 or 3 times, which is significant here because he disables your last used attack for the rest of the fight.

    		 @lorester I don't think Rhubzard is a good example of "challenging" boss... You can just spam healing spells and draw mana while on Defensive Armors and use D-burst when the Rhubzard uses its skill if you want. This way you ensure he'll never steal any weapon/spell you use.

    Or you can use the strategy outlined above of Underwyrmling + Guest and easily kill it too.

    ... Or you can just sit in Kindred Plate (Assuming you start with 0 charges btw), stack charges during boss normal turns and then use your skill once you accumulated enough charges during the battle, the boss should die far before you run out of weapons to hit it with.

    There are tons of methods to beat Rhubzard that completely ignore the meta equipment (I don't consider Kindred without stacking charges before the battle as meta)... It's not a hard boss if you know what you're doing, really.

    Lastly... If you have a problem with challenge bosses being trivialized by meta strategies, you can plain and simply... Not use them? It's what I do, I like having fun with bosses so I avoid meta stuff~

    		 if you are a guardian you can use the ultra scythe or awe weapon just need to get lucky and get power word die for the awe weapon or ultra guardian dragon with the ultra scythe.

    		You can easily kill Rhubzard with Defender of the past weapons EleVun and White Knight skill

    		 shame that there was no shark/tornado movie that was able to bring back the zardnado paintings maybe they can be added to the zard hunters shop permanently if there are no more sharknado movies or similar movies coming out.

    oh hopefully they make the 15th anniversary tlapd painting able to take you to the tlapd day event once the event leaves the event page. it would be a great thing to happen. i like taking the quiz and the questions. and its paintings and also the different quests too.

    		Zardnado already returned this year, actually. If there's no movie coming out it returns annually during Shark Week which happens in August.

    And you can access (regular) TLaPD all year anyway using a potion from Warlic's Shop. So you'll be able to get everything except the crystal gear which is going rare.

    I feel like a game having only balanced items should be a thing to strive for. That said, I agree that you could simply not use the meta strategies.

    		 kept trying the teleportation potion in warlocs shop but it keeps just takeing me to the triple challenge which is useless for a guardian. but is useful for adventurers. so currently no way to do talk like a pirate day using that

    		 You're using the wrong formula, it will never work like that.

    Correct formula is: Mermazon Kelp + Bad Juice + Magma Leaf.

    still the old teleportation potion is useless to non adventurers. hope they do something to make it more useful to guardians.
