Dark 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 EFFECT Burning Solstice Pt. 5: The Choice to Fall's version:- This is a boss fight with five phases:
- Fights against each phase end prematurely once you remove a certain percentage of the boss' HP.
- First Phase: Boss starts with 100% HP. Fight ends when the boss is at around 90% of its health.
- Second Phase: Boss starts with around 90% of its health. Fight ends when the boss is at around 70% of its health.
- Third Phase: Boss starts with around 70% of its health. Fight ends when the boss is at around 50% of its health.
- Fourth Phase: Boss starts with around 50% of its health. Fight ends when the boss is at around 30% of its health.
- Fifth Phase: Boss starts with around 30% of its health. Fight ends when the boss is at around 8% of its health.
- At the end of each phase you get the listed rewards and a full heal.
- Starting with the 3rd phase, before the battle starts, you need to pass an Endurance Check. If you fail the check, you take a considerable amount of damage prior to the start of the current phase of the fight. The rolls read as follows:
- Before Start of 3rd Phase: Endurance Check - Everyone should be gone... Can you endure the flames and fight on to keep the wyrm from chasing?; Stat Used: Endurance. Difficulty: 90.
- Before Start of 4th Phase: Endurance Check - Can’t see straight... Everyone’s gone, right? Have to buy time for them...; Stat Used: Endurance. Difficulty: 100.
- Before Start of 5th Phase: Endurance Check - Battle on. Battle on... Keep standing, you can’t see if they made it far enough...; Stat Used: Endurance. Difficulty: 110.
- Starting on phase 3, the boss gains additional abilities at the start of each phase.
- At the start of Phase 3 and for the following phases, you are inflicted with a Harm Element Burn effect called Grave Wounds that lasts until the end of the battle and cannot be removed. Its description reads as follows: You’re fighting through some severe injuries...
- At the start of Phase 4 and for the following phases, you are inflicted with a Harm Element MP Burn effect called Exhaustion that lasts until the end of the battle and cannot be removed. Its description reads as follows: Your mind is starting to slip...
- At the start of Phase 5, you are inflicted with a Harm Element SP Burn effect called Agony that lasts until the end of the battle and cannot be removed. Its description reads as follows: Your very soul is on the line now...
- Passive Abilities:
- Regenerates «» SP per turn.
- At the end of its turn, the boss inflicts you with a 1 turn Fire Element Burn named Attrition, you cannot resist this effect. The power of the Burn increases as the boss' health decreases. Its description reads as follows: The dragon's unending flames are burning away your body and resolve. Try to endure!
- Boss Boost +20: The boss has a +20% chance of resisting any status that immobilize it or that reduce its damage capabilities. Its description reads as follows: Hail to the king, baby.
- Soft Damage Cap: The boss receives greatly reduced damage against hits that would deal damage above a certain threshold. The threshold is very small in this fight.
- Attacks:
- Default attack is one hit of Darkness Element.
- If it has «» SP, it can spend it to use a 3 hits Fire Element Skill. If the boss still has MP, it can consume «» MP to increase the damage of this attack.
Burning Solstice Finale: The Answer's version:- Passive Abilities:
- Regenerates «» SP per turn.
- You are inflicted with a status named Defiance. This has no effect and has the following description: War does not suffer from attrition - War IS attrition.
- Boss Boost +20: The boss has a +20% chance of resisting any status that immobilize it or that reduce its damage capabilities. Its description reads as follows: Hail to the king, baby.
- Every turn, the boss is inflicted with a Harm Element burn named Attrition. This cannot be resisted. Its description reads as follows: The dragon's resistance to flame means nothing before the burning truth of War undeniable!
- When the boss reaches about 40% of its HP, the fight ends prematurely and you get the listed rewards.
- Attacks:
- Default attack is one hit of Darkness Element.
- If it has «» SP, it can spend it to use a 3 hits Fire Element Skill. If the boss still has MP, it can consume «» MP to increase the damage of this attack.
DESCRIPTION This ancient dragon is heavily infused with the destructive power stolen from War's altars, compounding with centuries of might and experience to create a nearly unstoppable juggernaut. Stats of the monster throughout the multiple level tiers thanks to Gavers. Boss' mechanics and pop ups thanks to Cray.
