Mogloween 2019: Heavy Lifting

Hey there, heroes!

This year's spooky Mogloween finale has arrived! It turns out that the Baleful Brother Akaz has been conducting dubiously ethical experiments on innocent animals from Lore... and turning them into super-muscular aggressive mutations!

After travelling to Akaz's lab, Akaz explained the reasoning behind these mutations. And they all stemmed from a certain cat. Who has gone missing.



Welp, it's all in a day for the hero of Lore! Time to fix everything, wrap it all up nicely, and go trick-or-treating... right? What's the worst that could happen?



The October DC item, Scythe of the Unhallowed will be leaving with next week's release! Make sure to get it while you still can!



And that's all for this week!

Seriously, though, that fight was crazy. Beat it well enough on my first character with Chaosweaver (after failing miserably on my second character), but I'm going to have to mess around with different armors on my second character. Maybe Ranger will work...

Uh yeah is this supposed to be this broken lol? He heals for max health whenever he feels like it.

Ssssssssorta not quite. Got him to like 1/3rd health or 1/5th health before he could heal the first time (thanks, multiple stuns!), and he only healed something like 23% health. (No, I didn't use Empowered Vengeance on CW.)

Now that I think about it, guests with stuns would help a ton. I'll try that in a bit.

Edit: Guests get removed as soon as the quest starts. Solo + pet it is.

Well I just fought him again and he didn't fully heal, so I think he was patched.

Yep, he's patched. (Ranger strategy still beat him without him healing twice, so I still count that as a pre-patch win. Almost.)

Seems like it - beat him first time around without too much trouble.

On a side note, I liked the hero just saying 'nope, I'm done with this' and going trick or treating. The dialogue between them and Bubble was also pretty hilarious (since she is, most likely older), and I loved Verly just crashing in like that - the facial expressions were really on point.

This release was beautiful one of my favourites for a long time, Swol Verly was tough for sure though.

 For those who don't know, Cysero sells permanent (cosmetic) versions of this year's masks, allowing for some really nice fashion. The only real gripe I have with this set is that Eternal Epoch shows a lot of skin and the permanent Ezrajal/Yaphael masks aren't CC to skin color. It would also be remiss not to mention how hilarious the Warden mask looks, definitely dedicating a bag slot to this.

As far as the new quest goes, Majji is getting really hyped up and I can't wait until we inevitably confront him. The boss fight and accompanying dialogue were also quite funny and I enjoyed them a lot.

Also, the Goose Mask honks when you click on it! Check it out!

Next Mogloween will be about M and the last cauldron sister getting on good terms. Next Heroes Heart Day will most likely be about Trouble and Verly.

just from the first row of new masks its a great release(would be cool though if some of the masks could be helmets whit proper stats)

 This might have been my favorite Mogloween event yet.

Will we be getting INT and DEX oriented versions of the reward ring as well?

I know it is meant to be the muscle enhancing potion, but same type of rings for us DEX and INT users would be appreciated.

 Another great Mogloween release. Since these releases usually come in ~5.00 AM here, I didn't have chance to fight pre-nerfred Verly, so I beat him with my Evolved Pumpkinlord Armor.

 Had to catch up on last years Mogloween (how did I miss that??) but loved this years release! Poor Verly (character).... and thanks Verly (Dev)!

Off to trick-or-treating! Now if only you all would stop throwing tricks at me :P

I'm glad I got the level 90 ring for my STR-oriented alt on the first try, because that boss made me sweat a little. I probably got lucky near the end when he was constantly healing just 111 health instead of buffing himself. Thanks for the workout!
