To confirm, the lucky hammer's special is like the blade of awe/thorn replica where it works when just shown right?

Also, can you still get emerald keys? Which quest would be the best to farm them?

You are correct. So there is no need to buy the expensive high-level ones, the lvl 10 version is enough.

And I guess they are? They do have low drop-rate so I haven't ever got them myself.
