Legion DoomKnight:

Ice and Darkness variants of the Legion DoomKnight armor enables you to call forth infernal skulls that deals either Ice or Darkness damage, whichever will hurt your enemies more! When facing Undead enemies with the Legion DoomKnight Blade, it will deal massive damage as though the foe were weak to Darkness or Ice! This evil blade can also swap between Melee and Magic damage. So it seems that the legion doomknight is a ice/dark clone of the current doomknight armor in the token shop? And the blade is a clone of the doomknight blade for the doomknight armaments package? That is weird because the existing doomknight blade is already a darkness weapon.

 Hollow confirmed on discord that the legion dmk items will be in the token shop (where the current version is located)

The wording of the description could mean two things for the armor
1) two armors, one ice with darkness and earth secondaries (39. 44, 44) and one darkness with ice and wind secondaries (39. 44, 44). this of course assumes a complete copy of the existing dmk armor.
In both armors there would be an ice/darkness seeking skill, however the elecomp would be higher if the skill element matches the armor element, in this case if in the ice armor and the skill seeks to ice it should have around *1.6 elecomp, but if in the darkness armor and the skill seeks to ice it would only have about *1.45 elecomp and vice versa.

2) The wording would be a typo and we could end up with one armor with resists similar to WHEEL or the revamped Hunter armor. Resists would be 40/40 ice/darkness with elecmop around *1.55


As for the sword, it will likely be a copy of the existing doom knight blade but also have a ice/darkness toggle which makes it infinitely superior.

So which armour and doom blade should I go for, I can't decide, because of it's elemental affinity (Ice and or Darkness type). As of now I'm leaning towards darkness because I don't have a darkness weapon, but not sure about the armor either? Does the weapon and armor change by click or are they two seperate items entirely?

They're two separate items. Most people will recommend you go for the ice variant, as it's armor skill gets higher elecomp and therefore does more damage (when dealing ice damage). There are also quite a few very good darkness weapons, so if that's your main draw, I would consider your options before committing one way or the other.

I like the DK armour that Sculpture (villain in DF orb saga) has on, but I don't have a dark weapon. Would getting the dark armour and ice weapon compliment each other, or is it better to go full dark with armour and weapon, and or vice versa? I'm looking for a dark weapon mainly, but if they compliment each other then it would be a good choice

You may want to post this in the Q&A thread, or join the discord server for some more input. Here's a link to the server if you're not already part of it.

Are you talking about Sepulchre? It doesn't really matter if the armor and weapon don't match, as there's no full set bonus. You won't be missing out on anything if you get the dark weapon and ice armor or vice versa.

If you're talking about the character linked under your avatar, it's generally recommended that you reach the level cap before making any big purchases, especially Z token ones. If you want max efficiency, you'll be able to get there in under a month.
