Does anyone know of any good earth pets? I am using the Baby Egg earth pet currently.

The best earth pet is Woolzard with Sleep and EleVuln inflictions and a toggle to boost them through the roof, but it's a Void rare.

Next up comes Fu Dog, with a chance to petrify the monster and petrification potency, though it's a UR.

Finally, there's the Morningstar pet, with a toggle that randomly inflicts EleVuln or DefLoss.

And then there are the Azamay Golem, but only with the right misc equipped. Either the Earth Rune or the Explodium Rune for earth. The misc has a low MP turn cost, but it's something different.

WoolZard's Sleep takes the omni-element penalty of -40% and its MC is spent on skill compression due to the option of consuming Sp for improved output. This makes it marginally better by +2% to the standard 22% melee status conditions of other pets. The basic Sleep attack takes a -15 BtH lean, which is bad for builds with partial Dex/Cha/Luk.

Baby Egg is a good Defensive competitor for all elements, its Damage Reduction doesn't take the -10% penalty of Healing pets as it doesn't qualify for being always useful due to requiring the enemy to deal damage every turn and assumes at least two hits to be effective.

The Morningstar Eye Spy, Sabre-Toothed Grenwog are for pure Offense, while Fu Dog, Geocastellum Cauldron, Gym Rat are both Offensive and Defensive.

Thank you all for this helpful information. I may test the difference between Grotesque Eye Spy and Baby Egg for a while. They both seem to be pretty good.

I am seeing the earth Baby Egg pet being so effective in paralyzing the monsters. Just so you know. :)
