Petrify Questions

1. Does Petrify stack? I haven't seem to notice it if I use Fu Dog + Sugar Gobbler.

2. Does Intimidating Mein work with Freeze statuses too? But Frostgale's Remorse would only work for freeze and not Petrify?
I ask because Intmidating Mein says it works on any status that Immbolizes + Reduces Defense but Frostgale's Remose is a Freeze Potence.

3. What are the current items that Petrify the foe?

4. Any Petrify Potence items out there yet?

5. Lastly, what are the other effects similar to Petrify?

Fire: Thermal Shock (Drakonnan's Fury only)
Water: ?
Wind: ?
Ice: Freeze
Energy: Hypersalinated (Eternity Key)
Light: Spirit Rennd (Fiend of Light, something after beating Rynnd the Undying)
Darkness: ?

While I do not own Petrify equipment, a similar test would involve Celerity to stack Freeze from Frostgale's weapons/Vanilla Ice Katana/Nezujimbo, if it works on these, its should theoretically work for Petrify, otherwise its bugged.

Mein is a blanket potence on statuses that both Immobilize and Increase Resistances(Vulnerability), so the flavor status names for the respective elements qualify.

Remorse's Freeze Potence is specific to one type of Immobility+Resistance, which is the Ice variant Freeze, its Wind mode Paralysis Potence applies to any element as Paralysis does not concern a specific element.

There are no Potence equipment specific to Petrify, but a blanket 10 Potence is available through Frostval 2017's Cracked Ornament and Tibbles 2019's Desert Raider Helm.

1. Sweet, I'll try that. So should I get a Celerity weapon and just try to Freeze the monster?

2. Figured. Shame, would have been useful for a boost to Petrify Potency.

3. Had Experimental Robocockatrice but sold it for Fu Dog. Guess Rangers also have Meduso Bow and magi have the Robocockatrice blade. Forgot about those.

4. Sweet, I have both of those. The Raider Helm and Cracked Ornaments are just clones of each other right? So shouldn't matter which one I use?

5. Rubify is pretty neat, but unfortunately those are package or spells. Oh well. Guess Mogdin should do for now.

Shadowfeeder Pendant and Clever Disguise from Abducted gives Pet+Guest Celerity.

Raider is different from Ornament in that it scales and has a +3 Power Lv bonus, which translates into slightly higher upkeep and potence, but once at Lv 150, it matches Ornament.
