I brought this question up when the infosub for twisted gauntlet of xano was released and began to wonder,

Is there a recent update regarding how weapon skills interact with things like subrace beast forms or perhaps how they are classified (for example, classified as 'normal player attack' ie. blade of briar|morningstar cross|zaburas hammer)? Is this type of interaction/classification getting phased out?

As far as I'm aware, we don't know. You'll have to contact the staff directly to get an answer to that.
