so my account in epicduel is really old, i mean old i was playing back when there were 4 servers, and its not connected to any artix account i cant seem to find a way to buy varium or anything for that matter (excluding credit purchases) , can i really not buy varium? or is there a way to buy varium for my account there?

ED account and Artix master account are the same. Use your ED login info to log into your Artix master account, there you can purchase Artix Points. You can use Artix Points in-game to purchase varium. https://portal.battleon.com/account/login.asp
