My opinion is that this doesn't have to be addressed within this particular update, but could instead take the form of a Dragonhide-esque shifting resistance to Undead foes, in a similar manner to the communicantzard. This would fit the theme of Paladin, whilst also making them much stronger against undead (Although, I've hopefully been preempted and this passive is already planned!)

This would definitely be the ideal way of handling this, IMO. The Zombie Hunter's element-shifting mechanic against enemy attacks is precisely what makes it one of the most useful armors against Undead, and for a class that is in part for hunting undead I can see a similar mechanic being good.

As it may be difficult to incorporate in the Paladin class quests an explanation why the attacks of Undead go through Light resistance, the alternative would be to set its Darkness resistance down to a level where it doesn't interfere with the Elecomp, (Expected Armor Resistance*130/70)+Expected Shield Resistance) = 51% at Lv 150.

I think that the Undead trigger on Paladins should be more creative, in that the standard 10% boost is doubled by scaling with the amount of souls freed up to 25 and for theme consistency it should have a BtH lean like Undead/Paladin Lord Axe.

As Paladin is part Knight reusing the Steed from its Lv 5 skill is fit as the art of a toggle between two Armor Leans or a skill attack like the Darkovian Subrace's Transformations.

That would be pretty sweet. If you mount, it can turn into a FO armor and some skills could be tied to only being able to use them if you're mounting the steed.

Super excited to see this! An update for Paladin means an Update for Necromancer is not far behind!
That being said, if I recall currently according to the lore summoning Undead is basically impossible for all but a few individuals. I hope we get an update to the Ley-Line story along with these class updates!

As for the Paladin class itself, it will be changing its focus. Though it remains a powerful hybrid of melee and magic, it will not merely focus on being a fanatic against the undead, but rather becoming a powerful servant of Light. Expect to see abilities that will increase you and your allies’ strength and reinforce you in times of great need, as well as new methods of facing off against the evils that threaten Lore. With all the changes they’ll be seeing, it’s possible that paladins may well become the warriors of good and virtue that they have always sought to be!

Is this still the plan for the paladin class?

LB left a long time ago, so that might not be the plan now. However, it would be very interesting if the first ten skills were focused on undead as an acknowledgment of the old ways of Paladins and the latter ten skills were focused on new abilities to show the effects Artix's journey has had on the Paladin Order.

Honestly? For being severely underleveled for my character, it seems half decent.

I imagine if I want in the level range for this armor, it would be completely fantastic. I tested it on weaker enemies in "The Pit", and it performed extremely well, frankly above it's weight class.

A level 150 variant of this would basically be an anti-undead nuclear warhead, if it scales how I think it will.

I put the Holy Armor of Testing to the test on Sunday, by fighting in the Frontier of Perdition. In pro-test, two banshees made their de-test-ation known. I was amazed to discover that I stood the sligh-test chance against a level 160 banshee. It is truly a test-ament to the skills of the Paladins of old; they were no doubt the adep-test at holding off undead, the swif-test at dispatching them, and the promp-test in answering cries for help, even in the remo-test locations with the blun-test weapons. Against a level 150 undead with the direc-test attacks, however, it was no con-test, and I fear my in-test-ines were removed.
But then I realized I wasn't actually a Paladin, and I had to retest.
The Holy Armor of Testing shined brigh-test against a Vamp. Though the gap between our levels was nearly at its grea-test, I was by far the adroi-test of us two, and Resplendent Surge left me the uncon-test-ed winner of the fight. I can at-test that the Blind increases with weakness to Light, and the players worrying about the poor Dark resistance will find swee-test relief in that.
I simply de-test that I couldn't see the difference made by Resonant Interference. I should have left test-imonials on Sunday.

10/10 pun game.
Resonant Interference gives +3 overall MRM and an unknown amount of a damage boost. I still feel stupid for not reading the text about having Paladin as a title.

It's awesome to see old favourites being given a new life, top work Cray! I'm sure we will Paladin for many years to come and cannot wait to see what is further down the line.
