For a short while at the beginning, the Daily Quests actually were random quests, which was way more fun. Seeing what random blast-from-the-past I'll get every day seemed to me far stronger incentive to come back than the 3 DC.

But now that they're just random pointless elementals (killed in 2 turnes with CW) I just do them once a week when I log in for the release, just for the DC.

Why the change? Why make it more banal?

That is literally the point: being able to do them quickly. The random quests you previously had to do were mostly from the pool of random quests you can get from the book 1 inn. If you want a blast from the past, go there lol

Dailies are fine the way they are currently imo. Having to kill like 10 level 2 sneevils and seed spitters every day is far more banal than just two-shotting a giant elemental

Hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. The ease of completing the DC dailies has gotten me back into the habit of feeding/training my pet dragon because if I'm gonna login in daily to grind a 2 minute quest I might as well take care of other tasks that can be completed quickly as well.
