1. Standard Crit damage has a 1.75 multiplier. However, this can be boosted by increasing your INT stat; [INT/10]% is added to the multiplier, so at 200 INT, you deal 20% more Crit damage, bringing the multiplier to 1.95. Furthermore, some classes have a different Crit damage base multiplier, such as Chaosweaver's 1.85 multiplier; the same amount of INT in this case would bring the multiplier to 2.05. Additionally, weapons such as Lucky Hammer or Thorn Replica can increase your Crit damage multiplier by a further 5-10%. 2. At a glance, it doesn't appear to be too powerful, in comparison to Aegis' other skills. I'll have to look into that one to make sure the Pedia entry is accurate. 3. For the vast majority of pets with multiple attack types, it's just RNG. It could be 50/50, or perhaps one (more powerful) attack may have a lower chance to activate. Some pets such as Doom Figmini have a strict rotation, while others such as Baby Chimera have a fixed component (shield every 15 turns) and a variable component (Nature or Fire attack). Basically, it depends on the pet. Pet Dragon is far more complex, and its formula for skill selection is outlined in this post. When using Pet Dragon however, I'd highly recommend enabling Manual Pet Actions, which basically turns your Pet Dragon into a guest, without it actually being one.
