In all seriousness, it'd be extraordinarily hard to program something like a romance system. But I get you man, the Nightmare King is a lucky... man? God? Being?

Is this the first time the Chosen gets to meet the Nightmare King? I can't remember the Nightmare King being mention in other quest.

 Defeating Nightmare Mode adds the Bane of the Night title to the reward shop. This will indeed be the first time the Chosen meets the other ruler of the Nightmare Realm! ...Not that this is exactly good for their health, mind, but needs must.

I woodn't be so quick to pine after the Nightmare Queen, though. Although I'm far from stumped over her popularity, one would have to go out on a limb to assume that a theoretical romantic story branch (Which to be more firmly rooted in reality, wouldn't happen) would be anything short of harrowing. That is a decidedly lethal tree to, well... bark up.

@Cray, That pun game is strong

All of these tree puns leaf me wondering though... Is Cray dropping hints for the next story branch, or just having some good 'ole fun? I might just be digging for roots that aren't there.
