So I have Airenal Set from the 50k z-token package. I know the full set bonus gives they skill offbalance chance. On the info page, it says 9999 turns, but while the background changes, the effect disappears as soon as it's the opponent's turn. Does this mean it's no longer works? Or is it a bug? Isn't it supposed to basically last until the end of the battle?

Make sure the weapon and shield are equipped for the set bonus, if † occurs on the players turn and the status disappears when its the enemy's turn, report the discrepancy between the pop-up and retainment of the status on the enemy in AQ Equipment Bugs.
