|Between having no Deadly Aim and max Deadly Aim, I find no difference in damage when testing Skull Cracker against the level 1 City Guard. The Deadly Aim itself should be adding 88 damage, plus 25% from the effect of Skull Cracker, for 110 extra damage. This is how it had operated previously. The 88 damage difference is evident when using the normal gun attack, so there's nothing wrong with Deadly Aim. Blood Bullet and TrueShot (Gun), which have mechanically similar damage boosting effects, are working just fine with Deadly Aim, so it also must not be a problem linked to this particular type of effect. For reference, my normal gun attack without DA does ~490, with DA ~570, Skull Cracker with or without DA ~600, Blood Bullet with DA ~690, TrueShot (Gun) with DA ~770. I don't know if this change to Skull Cracker could have been intentional or not, seeing as the gun and core are set to return for free players momentarily, but otherwise it's an issue worth looking into.
Edit: The problem is that it's now working off the primary damage, not the sidearm. If you equip an un-upgraded primary an use it, it becomes quite clear. It also does the same damage type as the equipped primary. I suppose then that the problem doesn't actually have anything to do with the % more damage, but something weird with the fact that Skull Cracker is a melee skill for gun.
