I'm a long time player here, but it's always been with Adventurer characters.

I've decided to try my hand with a Guardian character for the first time and remembered there used to be the option for changing the colour scheme to your no-drop armour back in the day.

Is that still a thing and if so, where/how do I do that?

Hi Xander, yes it's still possible.

Battleon Town > Click Valenica (left side of Yulgar's Inn) > Visit Grumbugly > Click Valencia > Customize Items > Morex2.

Then you can choose your colours.
