The Necromancer revamp seems to be leaning heavily into it being a partially CHA-based class. This only makes sense; the entire conceit of being a necromancer is that you're commanding undead to do your fighting for you, so your ability to issue commands efficiently will naturally be a big part of your overall effectiveness In my opinion, CHA for Necromancer only makes sense, if you want the undead to like the character, kinda like an undead best friend or pet, or if you're going to subtly manipulate/persuade them instead of downright controlling them. INT makes more sense for strategic combat decisions, you know, because the character is smart, and makes more sense in terms of dominating undeads to do your bidding, such as by overpowering their will with your own and actually commanding souls back into bones. I still haven't started the class (darn Beastmaster rolls), but if it is the best friend/pet aspects it's going for, then the color customization of the skeleton suddenly makes sense. I thought that was a weird choice, for a class I expected to be about forcing the dead to abandon their peace to fight for you. Don't get me wrong, I can still go for some Shaman King-esque friendship with spirits, if that's what the class is about.
