I just came back to the game.

Is it just me or has the Treasure Chest monster in the three dungeons gone rare? I've been recently trying to get gold when it doesn't spawn anymore at the points.

No it hasn't gone rare. The treasure chests aren't a guaranteed spawn at their spawn points. You just have a chance of encountering them there.
