Seconding this.

Honestly FD armors in general have to really do something special to be worth getting, due to the sheer versatility and power offered by the Neko subrace armors making it hard for anything else to be worth using over them. The Matchmaker armor from this year's Snugglefest is probably a good example of how high the bar for defensive armors has to be now, and that's not even a Token item.

Do you remember Khandie Gown?

It has a toggle ability to inflict fear every turn. I always thought that was a awesome ability. Excluding Backlash, it is strange that passive status infliction never appeared again in armors.

Maybe FD armors could use something like that?

I could imagine possibilities like a Energy armor have a Paralysis aura or Earth armors with Entangle auras etc.

I think a better example is Cherub armor from Snugglefest, i know its probably a lot of working done to it but its soo good for FD builds because it has synergy with other items like Blind/Burn Potency shields/Meduso Bow in particular or even prismatic yoyo in Blind mode, its just an incredible FD armor.

I think toggles that have Aura's are a neat concept which can be explored further and not only be for Backlash. There are other effects that can get some love using the toggle like Blinds for example, a Blinding Aura,Shocking Aura (Paralysis), Freezing Aura (Freeze),Cold Aura (Numb) and so on.

So the Bonebreaker Berserker Axe - it was originally meant to be a common (no MC), but Hollow released it as a Rare item, so we figured we should add an MC bonus. While I was there, Cray convinced me to change its effect.
