I couldn't agree more with this. Simply rolling the FSB back to where it was before. The nerf only serves to appease the majority of complaining players who have a bit of fomo and demand a nerf simply because they didn't put in the time/effort to get it. The FSB was never OP as it previously was designed.

Such comments are necessary as it's often the ones lacking the discussed items who favor lessening their worthiness. If you'll never use the item say nothing.

Think of it like this too: the people who use whatever item is up for debate or discussion will know better than those who only theorize how it is. You may not intentionally call for the weakening of it but I'd bet ideas would favor it.

Agree with these statements 100%. Well said @Aura Knight.

Then the better approach would be to point out that the idea is lessening the worthiness with an explanation as to why, rather than "you don't own it so shut up".

In addition, there should be no limits to feedback regardless of the reasoning makes sense to yourself or not. The discretion should come from the Devs on who/if the feedback should be considered by.

If/when the following scenario plays out, you're only serving to discourage participation more than this singular topic.

Player A doesn't own items. But puts forth an idea that nobody who owns the ideas put forth, and others who own the items read it and like the ideas and vouch for the idea or even change their mind because they like the idea. (I'm not saying my idea is even liked by a single other person here, I'm hypothetically putting forth a scenario) Then this idea gains enough support to end up being implemented..all from someone who doesn't own the item.

By essentially censoring someone simply because they don't have a dog in the fight isn't justified no matter the argument put forth. It's just eliminating ideas *YOU* dislike.

This isn't OK.

But tell you what, I'll go ahead and bow out of the Full Set Bonus debate, and let's see what argument boils to the surface about the singular items, as I have some. I should "have the right" to an opinion on those, right? Or no?

Well, yes that is an issue for sure. The feedback needs to be equally considered from the whole community and not just a faction of the base who seem to be only interested in nerfing all the time, especially if it's donation items that they, themselves didn't earn/obtain.

As an example of an extremely successful game, the makers of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) design the game 'how they see fit' rather than placating to every demand of the playerbase. It works out well for them, just saying. So more power to the Staff in making FSB etc. how they originally design and want.

I'm not in favor of eliminating ideas, I support denying them altogether if they come from people who don't know what they speak of. Limits to feedback are good if the items are already in limited supply.

Then I implore you to deny the idea rather than their ability to put forth the idea. You haven't done that yet.

In regards to the devoured shield, I'd be happy to move the turns to 2-3 and that's it. I'd be ecstatic if the burn was made into SP heal version. Either way, I may find it difficult to replace eternal champion with any shield past, present, or future. We'll see.

Thank you everyone for your input and feedback on the items, we'll now be moving the discussion internally to review and get back to you all.

As for the thread, it's run its course, thus *gets out a Keyote(TM) padlock*. Locked.~Anim
