Celebration shops. What are they? How can I find them in-game? And are they limited time things? Once they leave that content is gone forever kinda thing? Thanks for your time!

Please refer to the Limited Time & Quantity Shops located in the guides area of the DF Forums for the best source of data for that inquiry. Although it would be notable to mention that DF has been consistently steering from perma-rares to seasonals over the recent years.
